Your 2018 Cleveland Indians

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Sometimes you need those 6th, 7th, 8th, 9th hitters to account for 4 runs.

Indians are slumping pretty hard.

I like, I like.

But I'll bat Diaz vs Lefties with Guyer in there as well. Just an all around better team in that scenario.

CC or Sale doesn't want to see all these righties.

Lindor
Brantley
Jose
Donaldson
Edwin
Yandy
Kipnis
Gomes
Guyer

Kipnis shouldn’t be in the lineup against any LHP.

Also I don’t think we’ll have enough room on the playoff roster for both Guyer and Diaz seeing as Perez, Gonzalez, Cabrera and likely Allen are already locks.

Lindor and Jose have both been pretty bad since mid-August. Hopefully getting it out of their system now...

Yeah, you can tell Lindor specifically has been pressing. He’s chasing a lot of pitches he normally lays off of.

Nice to see Donaldson swinging freely. Ignoring the results, just exciting to see he looks healthy. Will be interested to hear how he says he feels post rehab stint.

I don't know how Gonzalez is considered an lock even though he's our utility guy. Our utility guys are so damn good I don't see us replacing one later in the innings. I'd rather have the bat to pinch hit with.

Wow. Whatever, we're playing some pretty poor uninspired baseball. Never fun losing.

Bases loaded... double play

Gonzalez is a lock for the postseason roster-- you're forgetting that he's the only guy who can play SS god forbid something happens to Frankie.

Meh, that's the thing, I'm pretty much guaranteeing Frankie's bat staying healthy. Idk, we'll see.

Should make great debate going into the postseason.

We are going 14 psoition players and 11 pitchers for the first round. The plan is if someone has a bad start, Bieber/Bauer will finish the game to save the bullpen. Also its possible Donaldson rides the bench depending on how he has been playing.

Interesting to me that he batted 2nd today at Columbus.

I had assumed he'd end up hitting 4th or 5th and that they wouldn't want to break up the top 3 of Lindor-Brantley-Ramirez, but maybe this indicates otherwise I don't know. Maybe they'd want to shake things up as Ramirez and Lindor haven't hit as well post-All Star.

They just want him to get as many AB's as possible in the minors without battin leadoff.

Dude, he hit a grand slam today. He was showing off a little, I think he's going to be ready, and ready to earn some coin.

Josh Donaldson isn't going to ride the bench.. Not if he is healthy enough.

He's the type of player you want and need in the lineup come playoff time. I just hope we can get a decent amount of at bats for him before the postseason starts, and hopefully he's comfortable playing 3rd for us and whatnot.

I thought he had a more serious injury.. But just a strained calf, huh? Wonder how bad it really is/was.

Obviously we feel he's OK if we made the move and added him to the roster. It was great to see him play today for the Clippers. Looks like he's going to be here for sure in 9 days.

Baseball is a weird enough sport that I'm actually kind of pumped we're not hitting on all cylinders right now... Last year we were rattling off 22 straight at the wrong time. This year we look like shit, and it would be so baseball for us to figure our shit out in October.
