They have the 7th best Pyth record (43-33) in the MLB. They are 13-6 in blowouts and 12-16 in one run games. The 28 one run games are tied for first in the MLB. Very unfortunate record to start the season.
The Tribe has the 12th best Pyth record (42-36) going 12-13 in blowouts and 9-7 in one run games with a +24 run diff as a comparison.
In 2016 the Rangers had a record of 95-67 with a Pyth record of 82-80 based on a +8 run diff. They were 18-24 in blowouts and 36-11 in one run games. Toronto swept them in the playoffs.
In 2017 the Indians had a 108-54 Pyth record and . . . well . . . there goes my argument.
Do you have Seattle's numbers from last year? I know they didn't make the playoffs, but they won 89 games with a -34. Edwin Diaz was nails for them last year, 57 for 61 in save situations I believe.
