Your favorite Cavs games of all-time (that you were in attendence for).

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
1. 2006-07 Regular Season vs. Boston Celtics.

Okay, so two exciting playoff games, but my favorite game was a regular season game versus the then-weak Celtics? Well, I'll never forget this game.

I went to the game with one of my best friends from school, who happens to be a huge Celtics fan (yeah, this would come back to bite me in the ass the following season). So I bought some sweet club-level seats for this early regular season game, hoping I could rub it in his face that whole week. The Cavs had other plans, though, as they lost the first quarter by 15 points. He was smiling the whole time while I was grinding my teeth watching Drew Gooden and Larry Hughes ruin my night.

The Cavs continued the shit play as they entered the fourth quarter down 16 points. One and a half minutes in, the Celtics scored the only three points of the quarter and increased their lead to 19. My friend was clapping in my face and the family in front of us got up and left (which pissed me off since I never leave a game early, especially not with seats like this, but the joke was on them that night).

Then, things started to change. LeBron was attacking the hoop, converting and-1's, drawing fouls, making plays. Sasha Pavlovic was hitting bigtime jumpers and three pointers. My friend would later tell me that when Sasha hit his second three of the quarter to pull the Cavs within one with four minutes to go that he knew it was over (and he swears to this day that Sasha is a good NBA player :chuckles:). The Cavs stormed back to take a lead, although they left the door open and Paul Pierce almost hit a half court shot in the final seconds to steal the game back. I enjoyed the drive back home with complete silence while my friend had to hear my countless jabs at nearly every mile marker on 480.

So there you go, definitely my top three favorite games I was ever able to witness. I did have a nice streak of 10 straight wins over the last four years, until the Magic ruined it in game one of the ECF (a game I considered putting on here with LeBron's career high 49 points, but I was only including wins). I did start a new streak with game five, though, so hopefully I can start another trend and have a few games crack my top 3.

Haven't been able to get over there for many, but this one^ was one of them and it has to be my fav...

Too lazy to give real input at this point, but I enjoyed going to the Washington Wizards 2006 Game 2 on my birthday, even though we lost. I lost my voice, but did get to see the players up close (and was pretty sour up to that point). But my favorite has to be the one with Game 5 in that same series. It was close throughout and that last second basket threw the crowd into a frenzy, including me and my dad. What a great game.

LeBrons first game winner vs. Bobcats. It was an overtime game and in the final seconds I noticed a woman behind me lost her phone and was asking people around her if they had seen it. Minutes later I noticed it about 4 rows in front of me as people were leaving, thinking that the game was over. So I climbed over the rows to fetch it and gave it to her, everyone with her was thanking me and a guy gave me $5 for a beer. As soon as I turned around I seen LBJ hit the shot that one the game. I like to think that my good natured spirit sent fairy dust over the team and that I won the game for everyone.

Mine was in '94. It was the year that Robert Parish was supposed to retire as a Celtic. Right as the game was ending Howie Chizek, the Cavs public address announcer tells the crowd that this will be Parish's last game ever in Cleveland.

The Crowd started to clap and then stand and before long Parish was given a thunderous ovation that lastest several minutes. The crowd kept clapping and finally Parish was given a microphone. He very awkwardly thanked the crowd and said he never expected anything like this from the Cleveland fans.

Just thinking about it makes me smile. That was my favorite Cavalier memory of all time and it wasn't Cavalier team related but that night really made me Cavs fan for life.

My favorite game memory from an RCF thread from 2007... and its still my favorite game.

Has to be a Lakers vs Cavs game at home that we won and Kobe almost won the game with a fade-away three, but it missed.
Two Lakers fans were in front of us, and every time Kobe scored, my mom would yell "Rapist!". :chuckles:

1992 Round 2, Game 7 vs. the Celtics. Camped out for tickets outside the old Coliseum. Saw the Cavs beat down the Celtics in what proved to be Bird's last game ever.

2007 ECF, Game 6 vs. the Pistons. Enough said.

February 11th, 2008. Cleveland Cavaliers @ Orlando Magic.

Jigo and I attended this game live. I feel like this was the game that fueled Larry "The Bear" Hughes' departure from the Cavaliers. At first Jigo and I were mocking The Bear with each ill-timed jumper.

But something happened......

The Bear was actually MAKING these jump shots. In fact, he made so many he scored an incredible 40 points (including 23 in the third quarter!) and stamped his ticket out of town thankfully.

Also one fun fact, late in the 4th quarter Jigo, my roommate Tim, and I all serenaded Ira Newble with an extremely loud MVP chant as he shot FTs. We got several odd looks from the few Magic fans still in attendance.

Good times.

3. Game 6 of the 2008 2nd Round vs Boston

The place was just electric. So loud, and I had a few beers and was a little loose so I kinda made myself the focal point of my section for all the yelling and Celtic taunting I was doing. Pretty ridiculous. Plus I was with my buddy that had never been to a playoff game before. Great times.

2. Game 4 of the 2007 ECF vs Detroit

It was the height of the momentum swing back in our favor in that series, when we tied it up. We had been totally counted out. Charles Barkley said he only packed 4 suits for the series because we'd be swept. Then I got on TNT after the game holding a sign I wrote in the hallway for Charles that said "Hey Chuck, You're Gonna Need More Suits", and they saw it and all the Inside the NBA guys talked to me (well, at me... I couldn't hear them) for like 30 seconds and laughed at Charles about it. Great times. Had like 20 text messages as I was walking out from all my buddies from here and in California that saw me on TV. :chuckles:

1. Game 2 of the 2009 ECF vs Orlando - LeShot

Most of the game was a little nerve racking, but I seriously can't even put into words what it was like to be there when he hit that shot. There was just so much riding on it, and everyone really felt like we were going to be down in an impossible hole, then suddenly it just snapped a million percent in the other direction when he hit that shot. It was just sooooo loud for soooo long. Just a deafening roar for like 10 minutes that started with yelling, and just morphed into "MVP" until LeBron walked off the floor. Walking back to the car, the atmosphere was like we had just won a championship.

Great thread camakazee.

Wow, I was at those same exact ones. Good times:thumbup:
