there was nothing particularly enthralling about Terrell Brandon

how dare you!

as for the bandwagon fans, isn't this what we all wanted? for the team we love to get "respect" and be "recognized"? well, here it is folks, enjoy it!

I got a funny message from my cousin this morning asking whether it was too late to climb aboard the Cavs bandwagon. He's a college/NBA basketball fan with no particular allegiance (moved around a lot) but he appreciates teams who play smart ball and he has been in awe at the Cavs teamwork and chemistry. Not to mention their blowouts.

So, what's your position on welcoming fans to the Cavs Bandwagon?

Get off the bandwagon...sucka!!

Time to make money

One word: LeBron

Just how there aren't really Laker fans, but more so "Kobe fans", we are beginning to see the influx of "LeBron fans" not necessarily Cavs fans.

The Cavaliers are Ohio's team. A lot of us down here in the Cincinnati area have and will continue to be hardcore Cavs fans.

I would think any true Cavs fan would welcome the ban wagon fans. Increasing the Cavaliers market share in the NBA allows the Cavs to stay on top and spending money. It also proves there is no such thing as a small market team, any team can become a large market team when they can stay on Top.

I wear my Cavs gear to all the Rockets game with pride. I take the heckles the last game I was 20 rows down below the red Rowdies and the Rockets destroyed the Cav's, I took the heckling doesn't matter to me.

Yesterday my wife ( who is an HR manager for three companies) was at a meeting with their new insurance broker, they have club seats and he said he would take us to a game if the Rockets and Cav's make it to the finals, he had one condition. We could not wear any Cavs gear, my wife told him forget it. We would rather sit in the nose-bleeds and rock our Cavs gear.

I love my wife.

Republicans buy shoes to.

I convinced a hockey fan on the awesomeness of King James, and he's buying a jersey. So for me, bandwagon fans are okay as long as they buy merchandise and wear it with pride.

personally i think bandwagon people get annoying .. always asking question

Kid Cudi, Cleveland Cavaliers, feel free to jump on the bandwagon

I guess I could be considered bandwagon since I only became a real cavs fan when the Cavs drafted Lebron. I'm 25, and like most people my age, we had our favorite players growing up and they didn't play for the Cavs. I mean say what you want, but there was nothing particularly enthralling about Terrell Brandon, Chris Mills and Tyrone Hill for someone in the 6th or 7th grade. I always rooted for the Cavs to win, but I would be lying if I said I watched every Cavs game as a teen like I do now. I went to a ton of games at the coliseum with my dad as a kid, but like most kids, we cared more about getting a mini basketball than if the team actually won. When I got a little older I became more of a fan of players than a certain team because I had a ton of jerseys I would wear to school in the 4rd and 5th grade (Jerry Stackhouse(76ers), Shawn Kemp(Sonics), Latrell Speewell(Warriors), Damon Stodumire(Raptors), MJ, and of course Shaq) I don't think I was abnormal either. I never had a NBA team I was die hard for, just players I liked watching. Since I'm a fan of all Cleveland sports though, I'm a Cavs fan.

So I don't have a problem with Lebron-era fans. Those fans are the ones that help the Cavs franchise advance into what it takes to be successful. If the Cavs were good, and nobody went to the games, then you could forget about Gilbert spending money, or Lebron staying here.

I feel guilty as I'm sort of similiar.

I really wasn't all that into basketball, and was an extreme football honk. I still liked the Cavs and would still play with them in like say a video game, but I really didn't follow them like I did the Brownies and Tribe.

I started to watch them a little more the season before Bron-Bron went to the draft. Praying that we'd get him, as it'd be awesome to see someone from where I grew up (The 330), make it not only in the NBA, but make the Cavs respectable again. I remember the huge debate of whether he was going to make it or be a huge flop.

I remeber the ugly ass swatch jerseys and the Rickey Davis "triple-double". that pretty much summed up the pre-'bron era, the only thing I'm glad that's still with us from that era would be Z.

I don't mind if they wanna hop on as long as they don't root for these hoes:

Don't say **** Cleveland and then turn around and root for our basketball team. Go root for the Sixers instead.

yeah, see I didn't root for anything. I loved sports, loved playing them and watching them. The only team I watched consistently as a kid were the Indians because a) I went to the games at the old stadium every Sunday with my grandpa and b)baseball was the sport I was best at, so I liked it the best.

I played basketball, and liked it, but I was just more into certain players than I was a team. I had Jordan,Penny and David Robinson posters on my wall. Football, I was a Lions fan because of Barry Sanders but the only team I watched every week was Ohio State.

Now I've grown out of being a fan of players, and I'm just an all Cleveland area fan. I think every kid has that in them which is why you see so many kids in Lebron jerseys on the road. Part of being a kid is rooting for a player you would hate if it were 15 years later. Like if Jordan played on the Bulls today, I would never wear his jersey, but you can get away with it as a kid.

The worst kind of Clevelander (and there are a TON of them) are people that root for the Steelers, Indians and Cavs. They make up some bullshit about how their family is from PA or some other lame crap. If you root for the Steelers you have to root for the Pirates, it's simple. You can't pick and choose the best of our city and the best of another city.
