Wow, Silver strikes again with a ton of insight on a team that he doesn't regularly cover. The Cleveland sports media is such a fucking joke...

I think Colt is a serviceable QB. And I wouldn't mind drafting talent over a QB. Give this team a RT, a healthy main RB and a #1 WR and we might see something better.

Sadly, I think we need more defense as well in this draft. Hoping H&H can pull of some nice FA signings.

Wasn't there an article a while back that said Daboll treated McCoy incredibly lousy but whne he was the starter became his best friend?

Also, McCoy getting texts from Favre? Uh oh...

Brian Daboll is a giant turd. I feel bad for Colt...it's a wonder he's been able to do anything in the situation he was put into. I really hope he continues to progress in this second half of the season as he has recently. As much as I think we're going to need to address the QB position before we can compete for the playoffs, I'd much rather this kid grow into our QB. Great person who really represents our city.

I remember reading an article that said Mangini gave him the cold shoulder and generally disrespected McCoy. I don't remember ever reading how Daboll treated McCoy like that. What a douchenozzle.

That Dolphins win must have been pretty nice revenge for Colt.

“The West Coast, it takes time,” he says. “Some of the coaches called me in the other day and showed me some numbers: Steve Young was 3-16 in his first 19 starts, with a low 60 percent completion rate. Joe Montana started 2-10. Their point to me was, ‘It takes time. Can you be doing better? Yeah. We all can. But just keep fighting. It will happen.’ And that’s exciting, because I know how sweet it’s gonna be.

This part of the article struck me the most. Here's this guy, has had about the same amount of ups as downs (although I lean more toward ups), yet his attitude is that of a Steve Young or Joe Montana. He has played enough games to know whether or not the NFL is for him yet all he thinks about is the day he succeeds.

People like that do succeed. Everybody talks about Tim Tebow but Colt McCoy has the "it" factor. Right now it's showing as moxie, but sooner or later that will translate into a super bowl. My only hope is that we don't chase him out of Cleveland within the next 2 or 3 years.

Is the "it" factor being 6 foot tall with a weak arm and showing accuracy problems this year?

Why's Peyton Hillis kicking a football and throwing it around? Why's he riding in the media bus in the back? Is he that afraid to get near his teammates after they watch him throw and kick a football?

Yeah it's kind of like that.

He pours way more heart than you do your posts however.

There are three different variations of "Colt McCoy ass shots" in the search box. Why?

Have you seen his ass?
