"You've Got to Give it To Wally"

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Oh well you now know what my plan was.

That's the problem. I don't think anyone understood what your plan was

It's like saying Wheat is the bread version of Rye, Cats are the feline version of Lions, and the Indians are an AAA version of MLB baseball...oh wait..

Or like saying the Browns belong in the arena league........

The way Xsabre has been talking lately, I think he really does want to give it to Wally.

You have to give credit to Wally for how he's changed or at least tried to change his game and accept his role. He was pretty much thought of as a pretty boy shooter only interested in scoring. He's now busting his ass for loose balls and rebounds while working hard defensively even though that still doesn't work sometimes due to his physical limitations.

Wally is one of those proven vets who've had success in their past and are now bench players that you always see step up for teams at times during championships runs. He won't be great every night but will come through big time in other games.

I've already said I'd go gay for Wally. What more do you want? Damn his charming good looks and abs that make me drool.

In the picture at the beginning of the thread, Wally looks like Lieutenant Dan.

Wally's played a great game last night. His shot looks great and on that dunk he looked like Lebron.:gap:

I know boys and girls..... lost allmy energy here to explain you that wally is important to this team.....He will always stay ready to come in and help.....Im really enjoying in this playoff run like never before.......

The other teams are jealous... As well as they should be..

If I was a coach for the Hawks, I'd just set up that one to play next to the one of Wally throwing down. You let THIS GUY score double figures???

Wally has reduced his time camping around for the spot up and spent more time posting up on mismatches, which I don't think we went to enough during the regular season. He has been posting well all season and we just never made it a consistent play, it was just every once in a while.

Another reason people hated him before was when he tried to face up, which usually ended in disaster. Posting up is his game, and we need someone to go to in the post outside of LeBron and Z.

Wally has hustled, hasn't tried to handle the ball, and has shot well. That adds up to people loving him again.

I always liked the guy's personality and effort, just thought he wasn't meshing his game with the Cavs well enough. Now it's clear that he knows exactly where he belongs. I'd love to see him become a free agent with a ring on his resume.
