Z Doesn't Make All-Star Game.

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
I think he definitely deserved to be there, but so did the guys who got picked. He certainly did not get screwed.

I just remembered that Z was the 2nd Cav to be robbed of something. LeBron was robbed of the MVP 2 years ago and chances of being robbed again this year. I am not surprised.

Z definitely deserved a nod, but you can't fault them for taking Bosh and Jamison. They're both good.....

Would have been nice, but I'm happy he'll get the time off to rest up.

I was just on Z's fan site - which by the way is really crackin' with all the flash media and original Z-performed hip hop - and he released a poignant statement:

"To my millions of fans worldwide, thank you for all the all star votes and all the letters and blogs written in my honor. You guys really took this cause on, but unfortunately the coaches didn't think about the fact Bosh is a frail stickman who even Hughes abused in drives to the lane. What mattered to me throughout the past week was your love, you callin' a player a player, and recognizing my mad skillz. You didn't talk about trades for old point guards, you talked about me. Holla at yo' boy. Buy my shoes when they come out in March."

I actually made all that up... but if Z was more of a self-promoter, he would probably be on the team right now.

He might also have more than a half dozen of supposed Cavs fans supporting him throughout the past week.

He'll probably end up spending the weekend hanging out at the Ronald McDonald House or spending quality time with his wife. Why do I even cheer for this guy?

Only way he got screwed is if they moved Bosh to the C role to fit on the team, which they didnt do. So no he didnt get screwed, as there are no set roles assigned to the bench players selected.

Use the time to rest and recoup big fella. We've got bigger things to worry about.

My understanding is they are supposed to pick a center, two forwards, two gaurds and two wild cards. So they did move Bosh to C to get him on the team over Z. Z should have been on as 2nd best actual center.

They probably did. And honestly I can't really blame them. I love Z, but Bosh is a beast.

And he's not a center. How can ripping you off be OK to you? The only good thing I see here is Z is going to have a long vacation.

At least it's not as bad as Mike Bibby being robbed of a chance at being a Cavalier. I mean, the guy is begging to come here!

I'd rather Z rest. He struggled on this trip for large stretches of games. With no Andy and Drew playing bad even by his standards, Z is going to have to log a lot of minutes over the next month.

Oh, I went there... and I don't regret it. Is this Realcavsfans.com or Reallylovetrades.com?

I know I will get no rep points for taking this stance, but David Crosby, Stephen Stills, Graham Nash, and the great moral compass Neil Young once told me on a decade-long drug binge:

If you're not with the one you love, love the one you're with.
