In fact, many many people have noticed how Z's numbers dropped like a rock when LeBron was out last time and have come to the opposite conclusion - that if it wasn't for LBJ setting him up - he'd have very little.

One could argue that Shaq or Amare on the cavs team without Lebron would not score either. Mostly because this group sans lebron is just a bit better than D-league. part of the problem seems to be nobody in the cavs org, except Lebron can draw a man off z and still get him the ball in scoring position. Boobie can force space and for that matter so can Damon, but neither has show an ability to get the ball to Z when this happens.

Z is the only other allstar caliber player on this team. He has shown up for every game this year.

An while we are on the criminal topic, I noticed at least one journalist type saying he supported KG for MVP, and then went on to list six guys following, none of which is Lebron. I think if we don't get out of the first round, Lebron won't get the MVP.

Just FYI... The MVP voting is done before the playoffs, so how teams do in the playoffs doesnt matter. See Dirk's MVP for proof of that.

Dirk's MVP was tragic. He won it and then a 1st round exit. I wouldn't laugh though because I love Dirk's game but still... :chuckles: He made the award a joke.

Many people mock the Dirk selection but it is justified as he was the best player during the season, leading a team to an unbelievable record. As for KG, well he hasn't made it further the Dirk did last season. Dirk earned the respect by taking his team deep previously, and backed it up with a phenominal season. LeBron is doing the same now, minus the record.
