Agreed, Max. We had three close games in a row after a difficult game against a hot Denver squad. Z with a bad wheel is still better than what many teams trot out there at the center position (Joel Anthony). We are in the business of winning basketball games moreso than keeping perfectly healthy.

As I said right when he got hurt, this is going to take time. Whether its an offensive tackle in football or a frontcourt player in basketball, a foot injury takes more time to become 100% healthy for taller/heavier athletes. That is just how it is. He can still help us with some limitations in games and playing time.

Thankfully the Cavs dont miss Ilgauskas when he misses time unlike with Szczerbiak who contributions are just super.

They just said on Access Cavaliers that Z would be out tonight and that there's going to be a press conference during Access Cavaliers to talk about his status. Doesnt sound good :|

If we only had to give up those 3 to get him that would be awesome. THen we got Wally and picks to trade for a young backup pf/c

Dont mean to trade this into a trade thread but what if we did get wallace for that a gave up wally and 1st for Kaman

The bad news is that this could linger all season long, Z may never be healthy this season

Bad news yes, horrible.........no. He may be out longer they are saying. They will re-evaluate after 2 weeks. It could be worse.
