One of the most ridiculous buzzer beaters I have ever seen. He made McGee look foolish. I understand hes a post player but to get your ankles broke and then have the game winner buried. Amazing

Bronx native Kemba Walker would love to team up with new Knick Carmelo Anthony and play for his hometown team in Mike D'Antoni's run and gun system. A trip to Madison Square Garden had Walker thinking about his professional future. The next time he plays at the Garden, Walker, a junior who has yet to announce his plans, could very well be in the NBA. "It's special, a special place to play," he said. "Everybody dreams of playing in this place, the bright lights, everybody watching. It's just a special place."
Walker, who could graduate and is expected by many to declare for the June draft, has long followed the career of Carmelo Anthony. "Carmelo Anthony has been my favorite player so wherever he goes, I go," Walker said when asking who he roots for. "I think about that all the time. I would love to not only play with him but play for this organization, just because I'm from here. But whatever happens, happens. I can't control stuff like that."

Yes so, anything I previously said about Kemba Walker you can now throw out the window. I understand why players would want to play for their hometown (or at least some players...not all..............) but why the hell does it HAVE to be that team or nothing. You know that no matter which team drafts Walker, he WILL leave that franchise and go to New York whenever his contract is up.
Sickening. The NBA has to come up with something that will keep players on their teams (unless it's a trade). Something like, the current team can pay 100% more than any other team. Example: Miami can pay LBJ 10M/year whereas the Cavs can pay 20M/year.
Let's not overreact. That's not a given. It's not like if he gets drafted and put in a good situation, he is gonna peace out to NY no matter what.
Lol, it sure sounds like it. But that's beside the point, if he gets drafted by us, that is not a good situation, and he will peace out.
Jordan Hamilton is really growing on me if our Clipps pick begins to drift down a bit. He really hasn't found out his greatest strength, and with a bit of ball handling help, he could be a quality scorer in the NBA (15-17 ppg 5-6 rebounds type of guy).
Also, is it safe to say that when you look at a big school player (Hamilton, Barnes, etc) that gaudy numbers like Jimmer's don't come around because they have a set offense and aren't running plays for him every time down the court?
