I'm sticking with my three guard hopes of Irving/Muhammed/Waiters because of Waiters combo guard traits he could easily get 30+ minutes per game coming off the bench for Muhammed/Irving. With Muhammed not able to play NCAA apparently his stock will drop off considerably like Jennings did if he goes to Europe, and it should allow us to draft him if we are in the range I suspect we will be (7-12).

Edit: I shouldn't have said apparently. I mean possibly...

That would be super quickness to the max. would love to see it. Shabazz can also play the 3 if he grows 1 more inch, because now he is 6'6"

If we end up with a top 7 pick and it gets us either Noel, Muhammad or McAdoo. I'll be satisified

Can we really call someone a sleeper when the college basketball season hasnt even started?

If we trade Varejao, i'm all for drafting Zeke Marshall in the second round to backup Zeller

Depending on our draft position Zeller may very well be the backup. This is the "year of the center" so if we are top 10 there is a pretty good chance we get a C that could be better than Zeller.

Do you think McAdoo projects as a 3 or 4? I've seen little of him - he looks pretty strong down low, looks athletic as hell but I don't know much about his perimeter or mid-rage game.

I think he's a tweener to be honest. Not a bad shooter, can go out and shoot 3s at the college level but he has a problem with his back to the basket. He can rebound well but his defense needs to improve.

Noel has to put some serious weight on or he'll roughed up in the NBA. 216 lbs? C'Mon Man

Yeah I got about 70 he could borrow for the same price

Then he'd be 316 lol. I could settle for him just taking 15 of mine, and if you gave him 35 he'd be 266 which wouldn't be too bad for a C (if he could convert it into muscle). Then i'll sell my remaining unwanted fat to Unibrow at double the price.

Does anybody think Zeke Marshall can make it in the league

Read through any discussions involving the 2013 Draft and see how many times the name Tony Mitchell comes up (especially vs other names). That's how you can call a player a sleeper before the season starts.

I don't think we wind up in the top five 2013 picks. More likely is low teens, plus a Sactown pick. I think we will be hunting small forwards for sure, but possibly another center, of which there are many in this draft. Because of what I think is going to be our draft position, given the current rankings, I see us looking hard at Nash and Leslie, but once the season starts rolling, we could see Deshaun Thomas or Otto Porter move up, as both are playing on good teams that could do well in March. If we finish with a mildly better pick, Adonis Thomas might be on the radar as well.
