NBA Regular season games thread

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
I don't know why, but I have a gut feeling Miami goes down tonight. Put a few dollars on Orlando. Just something odd...

EDIT: Thank god it wasn't a lot!

I give MIA about a 60% chance of beating CHI at the United, then about 80% odds @ New Orleans, then about 30% odds @ San Antonio, then about 60% odds at home against NYK.

Failing that, you might as well hand them the next 2 games to give them the record.

This goes with common thought (but wildly unfavorable among this board). Who here doesn't think they won't win it all again?

I'm not even going to bother with the drama they shouldn't deserve. At the next CBA, they need to fix this issue a little further. In the meantime, let's let the Heat have their fun, and enjoy it... while they still can. I am a gigantic proponent of Karma. That Australian, Z-loving belief will be the downfall of 3 guys making a wannabe NBA Olympic team. Just look at the Lakers and now the Celtics...

if your a believer in karma that actually favors the heat than. All the hate that team receives on the daily bases makes them the "good guys" so karma is actually in there favor.

They will never ever be the good guys. So, how long have you been a Heat fan?

It's easy to judge the Heat by their most recent success, but they still probably would have a worse record than San Antonio and possibly OKC if they played the same West-heavy schedule, and depending on the order and timing of the games, would likely not have at any point in the season a streak as long as Denver's most recent one is. Hollinger STILL has OKC ahead of Miami, due in part to this difference in SOS (especially during the most recent games.)

Also, look at the history of #1 seeds in the last many, many years in the playoffs.

It's best not to bother. You save yourself the aggravation later on in June. I sure know I was able to last year... I don't think Oklahoma City can do it because they keep laying eggs when it matters most. And San Antonio is untested in this generation at the top, are they even able to last that long against a 48-minute dead-serious Heat team?

Look, you guys know I'm not rooting for them. They realistically have earned favorites at this point.

As for the rookie elephant in the room, why are you guys even responding to that shit? Clearly we were taught not to feed trolls.

Streak over... but 27 is still pretty damn impressive. Gutty effort by the Bulls.

Thank God they didn't break that winning streak record. Go job Chicago. Fuck you Miami.

Looking at the box score for Brooklyn and Portland right now. The Blazers are down 44-17 w/ just under 11:00 to go in the 2nd quarter.

They are 33-37 and they don't have any sizable cap space in the near future. I have to wonder what exactly their plan is.

Yea, was going to comment on that game. It's the type of game that fans of all teams Hickson has been on know all too well. He's getting obliterated by...Reggie Evans.
