The second best player on the team is Jeff Teague and the third best is Thad Young. I'm not sure if that's more overall talent than some of the other East teams. BUT, Paul George is better than all of those other teams best player.

If they can manage to just find a better fit at two they'd be in business. If they could do it while keeping Ellis and using him in a 6th man role, they'd be fairly scary.

So Larry Bird has turned George Hill and the 20th pick into Jeff Teague and Thad Young.

Pretty awesome haul.

No it's a team trying to swing for the fences and see if they can get Jimmy Butler.

Thad Young on the Pacers doesn't scare me, sticking him at the four welcomes us to have Love post him up and with Bron on the floor there is no way they allow PG-13 to come over to help. Young is not even close to being big enough to contain Love down low.

The Ibaka rumors are concerning to me, it's starting to look more and more like Durant may indeed be leaving and that the Thunder are bracing themselves for a rebuild. Hopefully Durant proves to have the rocks to stick it out and not go lollygagging in the Bay Area.

Unless the Thunder are just trying to give Ibaka away for like a single draft pick, I wouldn't worry about it. I get the feeling they are trying to swing a big time trade for someone like Butler or Hayward.

Butler on OKC makes some sense for them, they would be better equipped to dealing with GS's perimeter game. I just don't think it helps them in the other top team match-ups though. There are some absolute monsters hanging out at the 4 on top of the west in Aldridge and Blake and even if disregard those two you still have to contend with AD in Nawlins. I think over adjusting to account for increased emphasis on perimeter play by completely disregarding interior presence on D is going to be the bane of many an nba team in the coming years, and it would be a shame to see OKC go that way.

Reallllly hoping we snag one of these picks. I understand if we don't. I don't pay the bills. But, please Dan?

Still hoping Cavs can turn the TPE+pick into a solid player, again, coming out of tonight with Lance Stephenson would be great.

Is there a chance Lance gets bought out? I thought I heard it mentioned somewhere.

But also, decent chance LeBron doesn't like Lance at all.

Apparently they weren't going to pick up his option apparently; need space to compete for Conley and potentially add talent.

Cavs can just absorb Lance with the TPE and get Grizzlies a pick and cash as compensation.
