2016 Trade Deadline

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
I literally thought he was 45 and out of baseball it seems so long ago when he first played for us.

How has he been this year and does he give us the same or more for the playoffs that Almonte has been(but can not) in the playoffs?

He's been pretty bad, but he'll provide another veteran presence and pinch running ability when Almonte is no longer on the team, if he does in fact make the post season roster.

Hell maybe he can execute a bunt ?? Surprised tho that he has 11hr and 47rbi.... Not bad little pop for a 36 year old outfielder whom you don't expect that from....

Maybe he gets ahold of a couple and ads to the scoreboard from time to time... Good insurance for Almonte

Coco is one of my favorite Indians ever, and he's not coming in to just ride out the string and retire.

Yeah, his batting average isn't too hot, but he is still showing some pretty good power and has more than serviceable numbers away from that shithole pitcher's park in Oakland.

.263/.329/.449, 8 HR, 30 RBI, 5 SB in 198 AB on the road
.205/.268/.349, 3 HR, 17 RBI, 2 SB in 195 AB at home

Plus, he's Coco motherfucking Crisp. Hitting better against righties, so we can effectively keep running that platoon with Guyer.

I'm a fan.

I swear if one of you say the Dolan's are cheap because they didn't trade for Puig....

Cavs coming off a Finals appearance and the Indians trading for a popular former outfielder for the stretch run. By God, I died and ended up in 2007 :chuckle:

In the summer of 2002 I named my parents cat Coco Crisp after I got to meet Coco the player earlier in the year.

Coco Crisp the cat died a few weeks back. Hopefully Coco Crisp the player doesn't meet a similar fate.
