2016 College Football Season/Playoff Thread

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Not that I would take his word for it, but he did come out and say he was staying at Bama for the duration of the playoffs at least.

Good...cause he is an awful play caller, and now you are adding in that he's going to be sidetracked about his next job.

If Clemson wins along with the Washington win. OSU could be ranked 3rd or 4th at the end of the day

No way. You'd end up with Clemson vs Washington which would be a ratings disaster on NYE. They will seperate Bama and OSU so you have the 2 largest fanbases to anchor the games.

But beyond that...even with Pac 12 championship, Washingtons resume isn't in same stratosphere as Bucks.

And if they do move us to 3, who gives a shit? We wear silver and grey instead of scarlet. No biggie....

Hey now...we have to flip sidelines for our bench and seating for our fans. That's a huge deal.

But you are right on the money. 0% chance the CFP blows their OSU vs Bama wad in a semi-final...

We have a chance, for sure.

Just don't like that chance. Just sayin.
I mean, Alabama is just not going to score many points on our defense.

If our offense can just get 50 yards a quarter we have a good shot.

lWhat debate? AZ said there was no debate implying I was responding to something no one on this thread had said. I posted your post as an example.

and I did respond .
Pac 12 champion
1 loss team

Ill add 2nd ranked team in overall efficiency according to espn.

There was some other post about Washington as well.

Like I said, Oklahoma should have just scheduled Portland State, like Washington, I guess.

What a good argument for who the four best teams are.

Something about Wisconsin in Indy...

Hokies never had a chance. Their QB sucks. Have to be able to throw the ball if you can't absolutely dominate physically on both sides of the ball.

What makes Clemson better than Washington? that they scheduled Auburn and South Carolina?

As far as Oklahoma goes. maybe they shouldn't of lost to an American Athletic conference Team.

If Oklahoma scheduled Portland State instead of Ohio State, they still probably wouldn't make the playoff. They didn't play anyone all year. It's not so much the losses that are hurting them as the lack of good wins. It's a gamble they had to take because they don't play a conference title game.

Washington didn't have a grueling schedule by any means, but their wins were clearly better.

And beat them...yeah, that's exactly why they're viewed as a team with a stronger resume.

Wisconsin's secondary is fucking trash, wow.

Penn State is rolling now. I really wish Moorhead and McSorley were Buckeyes.
