2016 College Football Season/Playoff Thread

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Well, no matter what happens with the CFP, Jim Harbaugh can eat a dick. Another class of scUM seniors graduates 0-4. Fuck Michigan.

You can do whatever you want. Go ahead and talk about how Baylor and TCU are quality wins.

I'm not, cause I don't give a shit...

I just want to hear this formula you have on which ranked teams would just be "ok" wins to get off of, and which are "good" ranked teams to get wins off of.

Their case isn't that much better. But they didn't lose to a 9-3 AAC team. Colorado is better than any of OU's wins. UW has a couple of top 15ish wins and beat a couple of halfway decent 8-4 teams like Utah and WSU, which is more than OU has done.

Colorado is a good win, but OU's overall strength of schedule is better than UW's. I would also argue that Houston isn't your run-of-the-mill, non-Power 5 school, either. This is a team that's one year removed from playing in (and winning) a NY6 bowl game.

So playoffs

Bama, tosu, Washington and psu or Clemson?

I like the fact that psu plays great 2nd halfs and finds ways to win, i like that clemson has less losses.

As an ou fan, tosu is safe. stop worrying

I'm guessing the top 4 doesn't change.

All this other stuff aside, I think OSU is in regardless. I would be a little more comfortable in that assertion with a PSU/Clemson loss, obviously, but I really don't think they need any additional help.

If I'm wrong, then so be it. PSU would be the fourth seed and get absolutely clobbered by Alabama.

Such bullshit these games are on at the same time. The only games that fucking mattered today. What a joke.

Gotta be Clemson over PSU. If PSU was going to overtake anyone, I really think it would be Washington.

If things stay the way they are, I don't think the top four will change.

Think the only reasonable change could be swapping Clemson with Washington.

This game is not a good look for Clemson right now...

I can see that happening, especially with the convincing fashion in which Washington took care of Colorado.

I just noticed that VT is 9-3.

I'm not saying Oklahoma sucks. And Houston isn't a bad team. But UW lost to USC and beat everyone else. Other than their two ranked wins, Kansas State is the only +.500 team Oklahoma beat. Their case isn't as good as Washington's, and that's not even bringing up the extra loss.

If VT pulls this off tomorrow will be fucking nuts.
