2017 MLB Offseason

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Do the Red Sox have any alternate jerseys that could possibly offend Sale's fashion sense? If not then I think it was a good deal for them. Moncada is a beast, no question, but I'm not sold Kopech's command, durability, or if he ever gets a 3rd pitch. The young OFer is intriguing, if he pans he makes it a plus. Just blows my mind that Boston would invest 63m in Moncada then up and trade him in a package.

Considering nobody else in the AL East looks better than they did last year, I agree it's their division.

However, I'm not sure they're going to be much better than they were last year when you account for Big Papi's retirement, and that I don't believe JBJ or Porcello will come close to matching their production.

I think Rick Porcello was an anomaly. I still expect him to win a lot of games, but I doubt he's going to post a 20+ win season and a low ERA like he did. I also don't think that Sandoval is going to have the bounce back year that they're hoping for.

I still contend that they're going to be a force to be reckoned with, but I take the Indians' starting rotation over anybody else's in the AL.

I mean, for every Indians fan saying the injuries are fluky and we should be able to count on health, there's a Red Sox fan saying that Price's playoff numbers are just an anomaly and at some point, they should reflect how good of a pitcher he actually is.

I was only talking about Carrasco's being flukey. Unless you think line drives off the hand will be a recurring problem.

Hypothetical:

Diamondbacks get:
Francisco Mejia, Brady Aiken, Mike Clevenger and Juan Hillman

Indians get:
Paul Goldschmidt

Who says no?

Man...you really want Goldy haha.

And I'd pick all 4 of those guys up from the airport and drive them to the D'Backs facility myself.

Unless you drive a minivan... you're going to need some help. I'll volunteer as well.
