It might have been the last straw for all we know. The guy's heart overall might not have been into it.
I don't like how we completely ignored the front court going into the season, but I can give the Cavs a pass here.
Bogut gets bought out, yeah, all is right. We finally have our center that can defend the rim at a high level, hard worker, etc, then literally two minutes he's done for the year.
Who'd have literally thunk that? Without must options left, they turn to Sanders. Completely unreliable as they come but with some proven production/talent/production but with obvious risks.
There's was really no shocker if he just didn't work out. I doubt the Cavs ever had serious high expectations or faith in him.
I am sure they knew Tavares was not going to be play off ready and that is why they gambled on Sanders first because he has played in the NBA and knew what it took and if he could put in the work and that is what he failed to do from what I hear. This is going to sound bad but he came pre mature (you know what I mean)
