He doesn't turn the ball over very much. There have been 2 fouls where he did, but I think those should have been called. That is hard for a rookie not to turn the ball over. He is a head in a lot of areas. Even if he is 2 years older than a one and done. His fundamentals are stronger than most one and dones.

I want to see him play so much more, but I do think he is going to get fewer and fewer minutes going forward. Especially the way Clarkson, Hood, and Hill have defended. He isn't the only one who tries anymore.

I think the reason people are starting to see him as a two way player is has shown he can dribble the ball can shoot a decent 3 ball has decent athleticism. I think a lot of people saw him as a player who is a effort/fundamental type role player (like a Delly), but he is showing some above average skills (ball handling / slashing) that put him into the starter / two way player range. You can tell when he just plays the game like vs. Orlando and parts of Boston he just gets it, but still has times where he over thinks and is a step behind. He has shown things I never thought he could do, the one that stands out is the full court driver to the basket between traffic and drawing a foul.

As I mentioned prior to the ASB , Cedi’s slide to the end of the bench will happen sooner rather than later . Just something about his game/body language that seems uncomfortable .

Team high +10 tonight. Has been consistently apart of some of our best lineups since he's been named starter. Doesn't turn the ball over much. Is great at cutting to the rim. Great on the break. Works fantastically with LeBron. Hustles on defense every single play. Plays with as much heart as anybody we've had since LeBron came back.

Lue continues to drift him more and more out of the rotation each and every game. Pretty soon he won't be a starter anymore. Then he'll be back to playing in garbage time.

Fuck Ty Lue. Seriously. Dude is a dickhead.

Remember it's game one of a back-to-back. Hoping to see much more Cedi tomorrow.

He’s prone to a couple possessions per game where he looks lost, incompetent, destined to commit a mistake. But you need to let that play out and see if he settles in/refines his role. Before the playoffs.

I hate that a lot of times he just goes off and stands in the corner on offense. I think Cedi is the kind of player that would thrive in a motion based offense way more than an iso or semi iso based offense. He is going to have to score on cuts and fast breaks as much as possible until his jump shot becomes more reliable.
He's probably the best defensive player on the team as far as my eyes can see.

He plays not to make mistakes. Every now and then he says "F it" and you will see him make a nice blow by move on the dribble or push it in transition, he has the ability - just needs to be more assertive.

No doubt he is our best defender, for that reason alone he should get more run.

I truly believe Cedi has the potential to be a better player than all 4 of our recent trade acquisitions. He is just at a disadvantage of being a NBA rookie. Lue needs to continue to his development, because I absolutely believe Cedi can contribute for us in the playoffs.

When we need stops, he needs to be in. Period. He's also one of a few guys that will even attempt to go to the offensive glass.

He misses a shot or two and Lue just benches him the rest of the game.. but we let Jeff Green have the total green light from 3 (and miss multiple in a row) and stay in.

Just a headsup, I'm a Jeff Green fan - I like him. But if Lue gives him that long of a leash offensively then Cedi should get the same.

I think Cedi needs the ball more...he is a pretty good creator... I'd start Hood with LBJ and Hill as primary ballhandlers and then let Cedi help Clarkson run the 2nd unit.

1.I think the 2nd unit runs more and it allows Cedi to play his game.
2. Hood to me is better suited to play a more half court game and is already familar with Hill

I think this allows both players to play their games a bit more and a better chance for success

Starting Cedi only to play him the first six or seven minutes of a half is just pointless

It's cuz he dribbles standing way way up. Doesn't get low and look aesthetic like a D Rose or D Wade

While Hood height leads most of us to believe he can play SF, I just don't see it in the cards with LeBron playing PF. LeBron like to pick and choose the aspects of both forward positions he likes to play then the SF has to pick up the slack. Hood would have to rebound and pick up PFs at times in the paint.

Cedi's energy especially rebounding helps the starters operate better and not get off to poor starts, it's a short term lineup till Love comes back. If we had another PF that could shoot, LeBron most likely wouldn't be playing PF.

I do hope that Cedi get the node at SF for the bench when Loves comes back. I think he is a better fit at SF than Korver.
