2018 NBA Draft - June 21

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
DiVicenzo remidns me of a Reddick if he were very athletic, bigger , longer and played defense.

Divencenzo was a 37.8% 3-point shooter on 4.0 attempts per game and a 70.5% free throw shooter in his college career.

Redick was a 40.6% 3-point shooter on 8.1 attempts per game and a 91.2% free throw shooter in his college career.

You used his three point percentages and attempts including his redshirt season. He is a 40 percent shooter on 7.2 attempts. He likes coming off screens and he is explosive coming off screens.

Anyways, the resemblance is more of how they move on the floor coming off screens and their form and elevation their jumpers. Donte is much more of a playmaker and a finisher. He might be able to play the pg spot at times.

5.3 attempts...he's a pretty good shooter, but Redick was probably a top-5 pure shooter in NCAA history. Divencenzo is obviously better at other parts of the game, but as shooters, they're miles apart.

Lol just did this one yesterday.

Catching up on his film, and I absolutely love Sagaba Konate. I'm talking top 25, maybe top 20.

Think he's going to back to school, but the guy is an animal. Every team needs a guy like him (see: Cavs) who will just rip the opponent's head off lol. Excellent rebounder, obviously tremendous rim protector. Question is whether it translates with his <9'0" standing reach. He's so technically sound that I think it will.

He's even shown some shooting flashes as well to potentially stretch things out in time. 79% from the FT line last year too. Numbers hurt by shot selection.

Has righty touch out of the post as well. Would be a great rim runner as well with his size and frame.

Elite defensive player with legit offensive upside. Guy is a first rounder to me at least. Wish he got more hype. Balled out at the combine today, I think he had 4 blocks in the first half.

Do you know of anyone else who frequently uses the two-handed volleyball block technique? On one hand I feel like his block numbers are inflated somewhat because his unorthodox technique simply caught a lot of players off guard, but on the other hand, maybe it'll throw NBA players off balance too.

I've seen the guy block with either hand or both. He's an advanced rim protector. Amazing timing, quick off the floor, multiple efforts, makes weakside rotations etc. Can even tell at times that he has opponents completely spooked lol.

Seems like he largely saves the 2 handers for guys in transition with a full head of steam. I'm not worried about the technique. Relatively low foul rate as well.

Any good comparisons for him, though? Or is he yet another totally unique player in this weird and wonderful draft?

Prime Biyombo? Idk. I have to look through the entire NBA name list to feel good about a comp lol.

Real-CSKA on NBATV this afternoon at 3 (single-elimination Euroleague semifinals game). Great chance to watch Doncic play if you're in the states.
