LeBron James

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Never forget

Ramona Shelburne and Brian Windhorst of ESPN.com reported in December that "James aggressively recruited George behind the scenes last summer, selling him on a future together in Cleveland, but the Cavs deal mysteriously fell apart before George was dealt to Oklahoma City."

"Me and PG have a very close friendship. Actually, it was funny because me and PG was supposed to be in Cleveland on draft night," Anthony said during a SiriusXM interview last year, per Ian Begley of ESPN.com. "We were communicating about that. The deal was actually done, and it got called off on draft night, so me and PG stayed connected throughout the course of the season."

eBron James reportedly does not want to play in Houston next season.

The Rockets still haven't had an opportunity to make their pitch to James, but according to Steven A. Smith, Chris Paul has begun telling people that he doesn't anticipate James landing in Houston and that he'd prefer to play in Los Angeles. The Lakers could realistically land Kawhi Leonard, Paul George and King James this summer, which would surround James with the sort of star power necessary to combat Golden State. There's still a lot that can happen here, but right now, the Lakers look like the early favorites in the James sweepstakes.

If PG is staying with OKC, that means it would be between us and Philly.

Just a rumor. Nothing official from legitimate sources.

As for LeBron, I'm definitely not ruling Houston out. If Cavs don't improve roster and PG stays put. I think it's a lock he goes to Houston. Not buying the CP3 stuff.

everything is all speculation right now....I dont believe anything on either side ...staying or going because nobody knows...LBJ may not know yet

The Miami version LeBron and the current LeBron are probably better.

But man, the 2009 LeBron was the most fun LeBron imo. That explosiveness, man. Look at him going past his man like they had their legs rooted in cement. And oh, those jerseys.

This guy was on meth. Incredible, a bunny energizer on both sides of the game.

I say the speed, power stamina he had then + his mind right now and with more polished offensive moves... when these 2 guys meets you get the best ever.

Goddamn Lebron was just a monster that year. Just unreal combination of athleticism and skill. If we had ANY star talent next to him that season it’s a guaranteed chip.

Exactly why I never held it against him when he left us in 2010.

That 2009 playoffs was possibly the best individual playoffs series by a player in a losing cause. To average 38.5/8.3/8/1.2/1.2 at 48.7 FG% and still lose would make any player lose complete trust in his teammates.

A lot of us who are still angry at LeBron still don't realize just how much we wasted having possibly the greatest ever at his physical prime. Compare that to any other all-time greats with their respective organizations in their first 7-8 odd years, they all had at least one All-NBA/HOF player and also a HOF coach or GM to guide them.

Meanwhile we provided LeBron with Mo Williams, Corpse of Big Z and Potato Head. Absolutely Criminal.

If Leonard is adamant about playing in L.A. next year, you simply can't trade for him, no matter how low the asking price gets.

Unless George forces his way here, I think we need to accept the fact that we've made our run (it was a good 'un, wish we could have gotten 1 more title out of it but oh well) and focus on the rebuild.

Wonderful if true. Somebody better put Laker fans on suicide watch because this would be a domino falling in the wrong direction for them....
Laker sports talk radio is completely convinced PG, LeBron and Kawhi are all coming and that it's a lock. I can't wait to listen to the tears in the coming weeks.

The Lakers youth is a mess of toddlers and no seasoned vet, let alone all-time great, wants to be a part of that.

Watching all these LeThanos trailers on YouTube moments ago sure is depressing.

We win game 1 we win the series I’m fully confident in that.

I want Lebron to beat these pricks out west but I want him doing it in a Cleveland jersey. Just won’t seem right if he does it wearing anything else.

I’m praying for a miracle that I know won’t happen that Lebron stays and we somehow retool with enough fire power to beatbox GS next year.

I don’t ever wish injury on folks but it sure would have been nice if Klay stayed down in game 1...
