Mock Draft Monday:
1 - Dre'Mont Jones - DT - Ohio State - Came back and really showed the improvement you'd like to see for someone attempting to improve draft stock. Racking up TFLs and making plays in the backfield. Pairing another versatile lineman with Garrett and Ogunjobi gives the Browns the best young defensive line in the league.
Other Considerations: Ed Oliver (likely gone), DK Metcalf, Jonah Williams, Greg Little, Jeffrey Simmons
2 - Kelvin Harmon - WR - NC State - In a deep year for wide receivers, Harmon has superior talent and polish. Runs great routes, has great hands and can make plays at every level. This offense is one more weapon away from being elite, IMO. Harmon is the type who exudes professional WR and can develop into a #1 in time and under the eye of guys like Jarvis Landry.
Risers/Other Considerations: Lavonte Taylor (CB, FSU), Jaquon Johnson (S, Miami), Amani Oruwariye (CB, PSU), Zach Allen (DE, BC), Byron Murphy (CB, Wash)
3 - David Edwards - OT - Wisconsin - True RT that would look to establish himself as the future at the position. Hubbard has not been impressive, and this position desperately needs depth to be where they need to be.
3 (from NE) - Trayvon Mullen - CB - Clemson - Love his instincts and athleticism, makes plays on the ball and has great timing and hand usage.
4 - KaVontae Turpin - WR/RB - TCU - This is one of the most intriguing guys in the draft. We see guys like Tyreek Hill and Jakeem Grant become gadget players that innovative coaches can use for big plays. Turpin is a flat out WEAPON in four facets (rushing, receiving, KR, PR). Get him into the offense for 5-10 per game. Perfect compliment for a Mayfield offense that can exploit misdirection.
5 - Devin Bush - LB - Michigan - Very undersized and it will cost him in the pre-draft process. Not quite 6-foot, not quite 230. But the dude is lightning and makes a ton of plays.
6 - Clayton Thorson - QB - Northwestern - Tore his ACL late last year and hasn't quite been himself. When he's healthy he's a smart player with good athleticism you could develop behind Mayfield.
