We were already 3rd place in the division regardless of today’s outcomes.
 
Expected review, yes. Especially with Gregg burning a timeout.

Caught the ball? Nah. Or at least not enough to overturn.
 
Seemed like we ran way too much when baker was racking up 15 yard passes and longer. There was nothing happening on the ground

I guess I have a different view. My best friend is a Steelers fan and I have a few other steelers fan friends here in Arizona, but all of them are very cool about the rivalry. Its fun because so many fans of other teams that know I am a huge Browns fan keep saying how much they like the young Browns especially Baker. Plus my friend thinks Ben is a bad human being but did defend the hell out Ju Ju, so I started watching him close and my friend is right, Ju Ju is a hell of a talent.

Except for when we got to the 39 yard line, 1st and 10, 1:20 to go with a timeout.... plenty of time... and we proceed to throw the ball 4 times well past the sticks.

That may have been when I elected to run the ball again on 1st down to see if I could get another 6 yards and get in field goal range.

What were the odds we gained enough on the ground? Like based on how many plays we rushed and had positive yardage?

That dline was fucking nuts.

Baker had picked up momentum after a weak start.

Sure, but even if you don't want to run the ball, how about a WR screen, or something to grab a quick 5-6 yards on first down. We had them on their heels. We were so close to a reasonable field goal attempt.

Hell, I may have even kicked it anyway. What was it, 56-57 yards? With adrenaline pumping, Greg has plenty of leg. It's the direction he kicks it that's the issue. But let's be real, he has the same issue from 35 yards... so what's the difference?

I definitely think they screwed up by not calling one single high percentage short gainer type of play to get within a more reasonable FG range if they couldn't get a first down. That being said, Baker had Landry on the out and just missed the throw, which he acknowledged after the game.. that play connects they are at the 25 or so with still plenty of time.

Rats are REAAALLLLY fortunate to be in the playoffs. They hung on by the slimmest of margins.
 
I'm feeling good about things today. The future is bright.
Watching several sports shows today including Cowterd. Him and that bitch sidekick Joy Nobody were a little down and out about all the Browns buzz as they're both Cleveland haters. Her cus she's from pitifulburg and they all got that cockiness and like to say how they don't take us as a serious rival. Cowterd keeps bringing on guests and asking them whats the best HC gig opening up and everyone's saying its the Browns. The cunt suggesting the Jets job is better. Screw them both.
Things are changing for us, next year will be fun too.
