"Is Kinsey Lebron's Pippen?"

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
TK did a good job. The thing that bothers him is he is a leaf. He should not have missed that dunk but he really gets pushed around because he is so light. I am glad he had decent handles last night because most of the time he dribbles into the ref.:king:

As long as he never has to handle the ball I think he is alot better than people think. He has a good mid range shot. Good defense. Can get out and run. Good free throw shooter. I think he would play best as long as Mo or Lebron are in. When he has to handle the ball he isn't very good

Well, not handle the ball as our PG like he's done during garbage time ... but a SG or SF doesn't have to have PG skills to be effective.

I know thats what Im saying. Just as long as he doesnt try to initiat the offense himself he is fine. And when you can have 3 decent ball handlers in at the same time (MO,Kinsey,Lebron) that is very dangerous

I would like to see more of him and less of Wally if that could be arranged. I know Mike loves to spread the floor but we can't afford the defensive lapses anymore.

Kinsey has actually had 8 games of 20pts or more in the league so it's cool that Brown went to him on a back to back where Wally was so outplayed by Maggette and that he stepped up.

For reference, Sasha has had 10 such games in his career, and Gibson 6.

Differance is Kinsey has only played, what one year officially in the NBA other then this one?

Haven't been a TK fan so far, in garbage time he was well just that garbage. Playing with the other starters last night showed a different game for him. I was worried if he would know his role, well clearly I had no reason to worry. The one thing that really surprised me was his hops. I guess I got use to flat foot wally.

This is Tarance's third season, but he got cut somewhere along the line in season 2 and only played 96 minutes.

But yeah, he's played roughly 1/6th the minutes of Sasha, and about 1/3rd the minutes of Gibson.

In the last game of his rookie season he put up 22pts on 9 of 13 shooting with 9 boards, 7 assists, and 3 steals.

You'd have to combine Sasha's career highs in those 4 categories for him to barely beat out that one game by Kinsey... (25pts, 9reb, 7ast, 4stl).

So yeah, he shows some potential. ;)

Kinsey played well last night, allbeit against a Warriors team that "pretends to play defense" (according to AC and Freddy Mac) and has a similiar style of offense to D'Antoni's 7 seconds or less offense.

He still reminds of Prince. It would be great if he blossomed into the player Prince is...

He could become a really good/solid player or he could become JR Bremer.......

I think you're just looking at his size and weight... Cause his game is nothing like Prince's.... He has no post up game, he doesn't have the handles and I wouldn't trust him taking the outside shot either...

I think more Travis Outlaw or Dermarr Johnson than Prince to be honest...But as long as he is able to contribute in a positive manner, I could care less...

No doubt, it's his physical features and not his game. But, I never thought Prince would be as good as he his due to those same features. My point was more that maybe he can be better than he looks, just like Prince...

Good to see Kinsey step up in a moment of need. The guy does seem to have a decent skillset that can be quite useful but hasn't exactly demanded more time in his minimal opportunities. Basically he needs another injury in the rotation to open things up a little for him and from there we'd get a fair idea as to what we have.

I'm certainly not getting all pumped over this one game but I certainly have more trust that he could contribute then a Jawad Williams.
