"Is Kinsey Lebron's Pippen?"

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
I didn't know Kinsey could get up like that. The dunk he had in transition caught me off guard big time

First time I've seen him play in a competitive game. Was very good on the break with LeBron.

i considered making this thread as well, but i don't really know max.

ahahahahah

i was still close though.

good times, what a win.

Kinsey stepped up pretty big for us last night. Performances like his are exactly what we need to beat teams in the close games we're going to see till Z and Delonte are both back.

Couldn't have been happier with him last night. Did a decent job on defense too from what I saw.

I hope Brown keeps slipping him into the rotation while West is hurt and Wally continues being Wally. I'd really like to see this kid build his confidence and be even more comfortable on defense. You can never have too many defensive SGs sitting on your bench in the playoffs...man I love our depth...can't wait till we're healthy.

Even though Kinsey isnt LeBrons Pipen I think Kinsey is better than we realize. He's got a good looking jumper and he can drive the ball to the hoop.

I find it interesting/funny/effective how Kinsey runs on the break. It's a little awkward when he leans forward, as if he's hunching a little to catch himself or to gain some edge on wind resistance. He does the opposite of what great sprinters do, yet he gains a step or two on the people around him. I didn't know he had that in him. The Warriors bring out the fast break in everyone.

I've always thought that Kinsey has potential. His ability to get to the free throw line alone raises him above the normal "defensive wing scrub". The fact that he can get hot from the wing, has surprising hops, and rebounds above his size/width are good too. If the kid just had a better handle, he'd make the rotation on a lot of NBA teams.

Tarence Kinsey has been the story in the first half. Mike Brown went to him as sort of a last resort because Williams was playing so poorly and the Cavs were having trouble with perimeter defense. He played his best six minutes of the season with seven points and has held his own at the defensive end for the most part.

We'll see if Tarence Kinsey gets some more chances, he earned them tonight.

Can he hit the 3 consistently? That's really all you need if your a wing to play next to Lebron. Look at freakin Boobie my god was he bad most of the game both on offense and defense last night till the last 2 minutes of the game. If he can hit an open jumper, Kinsey should get more time with that kind of competition.

Kinsey would have to be out of this world overcome Mike Brown's Sasha Pavlovic mancrush

Not sure I understand this. Brown's only played Pavs large minutes in desperation after West's injuries. When he's started Sasha hasn't been great but he's done a decent enough particularly on defense

sarcasm? :dunno:

Sasha and Gibson have a lot more experience in our D... if Kinsey can start to catch up in that area, then perhaps his offensive abilities can help him steal some minutes or even displace someone from the rotation.
