How exactly did Gasol deserve the mvp? Kobe had the shittiest game 7 in the history of the finals, but he played great in the 6 games before that...offensively AND defensively. And not to mention the Celtics revolved his defense around Kobe and not Gasol. Gasol is the best big man in the league and deserves A LOT of credit for this win...But come on.

Kobe shot under 40 percent in the Finals. Get real.

LOL with the exception of LeBron, Cavs starting lineup wont be at the starting lineup of either Lakers or Celtics

and you're saying we are not their yet.

THEY WONT BE IN A MILLION YEARS

THAT's HOW TERRIBLE OUR LINEUP IS

Gasol was more consistent. Yes Kobe had a few big games but Gasol was better overall. I'm pretty sure an above average NBA player can score 25+ points if they are given 25+ shots Kobe takes to score those points.
Nice Avatar!:chuckles:

Even though you're right Sock...its Kobe. He's gonna get the MVP, c'mon. You should know this already man.

Perkins injury was crucial for this game...what a bad luck for the celtcis

Yeah especially if Lebron leaves.

i didnt expect him to shoot much better than that against the celtics. all i care about is that he played hard every game the whole game and did what needed doing...13 assists in one game...15 rebounds tonight

Well, if you're gonna do it by who had the most "better games", Gasol wins... if you're gonna go by production, Gasol wins...

now, if you're gonna go by underbites, well then the black mamba definitely wins

I don't know. Maybe Gasol should have been the MVP. Maybe Kobe should have been. But I contend that Artest's psychiatrist should have been the MVP.

am i the only one that thinks Kobe's 15 boards is slightly overrated? if you're sagging off of rondo you should be down low to grab rebounds

and make no mistake...the Lakers are the team to beat next year. a healthy Andrew Bynum, imo, will be a tremendous asset next year. he is young, huge, and actually seems to have some offesnive iq around the basketball, unlike a certain unnamed center in the east.

kobe will be a year older, but he also will have his finger fixed as well as the knee. Gasol is only 29.

You know what i hate most about this lakers win??? i live in new york and i heard ppl celebrating all over the place geeezzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz what a bunch of bandwagoners

the lakers could barely play Bynum, who if healthy, is a tremendous asset, so is that a lucky break for the celtics...injuries happen. kobe has been on a bad knee and finger much of the season and in these playoffs.
