What a horrible game to watch. I truly can't believe that the game of basketball has devolved to where it is now. The number of missed, wide open jumpshots that I saw throughout the playoffs was staggering. Referees control the pace of every game now, calling nothing in the first three quarters, and then calling everything in the fourth. Makes no sense.

Why was Kobe the Finals MVP when he had four bad games and even shot them out of games? Makes absolutely no sense to me. Gasol was the best player on that team during the regular season and playoffs. The Lakers showed that they could win without Kobe when he sat out during the regular season.

The Lakers also had a remarkably easy road to the Finals. The Thunder was the only competition they saw in the Western Conference playoffs. They didn't even have to play the second and third seeded teams (Denver and Dallas). Dallas would have definitely given them trouble and Denver did all year. They ended up playing an injured Utah team and a Phoenix team that matched up terribly with them instead.

Here's a dumb question who's better now Kobe or Lebron?

Lebron's A game is better than Kobe's at this point of their careers. Anyone who doesn't believe that is a Laker homer or a LBJ hater. LBJ has a lot of work to do before he wins a title though. Insane talent and athleticism isn't gonna win you a title.
