am i the only one that thinks Kobe's 15 boards is slightly overrated? if you're sagging off of rondo you should be down low to grab rebounds

There were 93 possible rebounds for the game, so Kobe's rebounding percentage was around 17%, which is around the rebounding percentage of Gasol for the whole regular season, and lower than LeBron's

the lakers could barely play Bynum, who if healthy, is a tremendous asset, so is that a lucky break for the celtics...injuries happen. kobe has been on a bad knee and finger much of the season and in these playoffs.

Bynum might never be healthy. A good indication of that is that this is the third year people are saying "a healthy Bynum will be awesome!".

As my previous sig said, Offense win fans, Defense win games, Rebounds win Championships

Ray Allen to the Cavs!! Make it happen Grant!

a worthless stat in the nba because there is no way to quantify how many rebounds would even be in the vicinity of a given player.

all i know is those were 15 rebounds the celtics desperately needed.

thus far the doctors considered his last two injuries freak injuries. if something happens again next year, id have questions about him. the kid is only 22 years old.

yeah but his 7ft presence was there, you cant say the same thing about the celtics

you think gasol would get 9ooff reb plus 4 by bynum with perkins there?, the key in this series was Reb and Perkins you accept it or not was the difference for tonight game

Not worthless. The point is that there were 93 rebounds TOTAL. That's insane.

and really, it's a lot easier to rebound the ball when you get to sag off of your defender instead of in traffic. If they're not overrated, they're still nowhere as valuable as Gasol's 18 (9 of them being offensive for 7 second chance points)

ALL DRAFTED PLAYERS SHOULD ACT LIKE KOBE

FOLLOW KOBE

IDOLIZE KOBE

THEY SHOULD NOT PLAY FOR THE TEAM THAT DRAFTED THEM

BUT BE TRADED TO THE LAKERS

wallace took up alot of those minutes and proviided offense that perkins cannot (16 points) and still pulled 8 boards. i cant say perk being there would have give the celtics a win.

lakers won because they played very intense defense, especially in the second half.

Rasheed can produce from the bench anyway man, the point its the celtics didnt have that presence download and they also lose size for the entire game, if you take Perkins/Garnett out you can bring sheed, but in this game you have garnett playing almost 40min and then have to bring the undersized Davis in a series that was decided by reb.

Yeah you have to give credits to the Lakers Defense but no way your winning when the refs put you in the penalty with tick-tack fouls and then let the lakers shot like 17ft in one quater, that's what? 17ft that the celtics took the entire game?.

They just asked Kobe what did 5th championship mean individiually, and Kobe said "I have one more than Shaq"
