I just threw a number out there, but 4 years 50 mil sounds better for a center averaging 16 and 9.

He's a RFA, I think you're looking at a max contract if you're trying to offer something Minnesota won't match

Not meaning to hijack, but I think of this thread as part of "2013 Free Agency and Trade Priority." How the Cavs balance things will be really interesting. I didn't vote Center because Cavs would probably end up overpaying in free agency. Maybe that's the only way, but I think it will drive us crazy in the end.

Tristan and Kabongo might be tight but apparently Bennett and Kabongo are not. This tweet from a Toronto beat writer:

They asked Bennett about Tristan last night. It was sort of awkward. He said he really didn't know him and wasn't close to him. But now that they are teammates he will see him around. Wasn't exactly a "Tristan is my boy" type response. Could be a little bad blood there.

Karasev is not our starting SF. In fact, Grant said he's likely to play more minutes at the 2 right now due to his frame in his presser last night. Kid needs to beef up.

Some of you are over-valuing this kid. He still needs A LOT of work.

I think people are just really desperate to not see Gee start at the 3 again.

I noticed that too. It was interesting. Maybe it's like the Cleveland-Akron thing lol. Tristan seems like such a good guy I'm sure it'll be OK.

Would love to see them roll the dice on Oden. If he works, great, if not TT / AV / Zeller should be able to fill in nicely. I don't see why all the fuss about TT and Bennett playing together, their skillsets do not mirror each other, quite the opposite. TT and Noel would have been redundant.

I agree with the guys that we have now that we drafted Bennett Oden would be a good guy to take a shot at. If he comes back and stays healthy great if not we don't lose much. Heck maybe we can get lucky and when him and Andy go down this year it will be at opposite times so we have Oden when Andy is down and Andy when Oden is down. 2 players for one full season, although that's even asking alot out of those 2.

Yeah, he isn't ready yet. He needs more time.

1. Dwight Howard
2. Nikola Pekovic
3. Andrew Bynum
4. Al Jefferson
5. Greg Oden

I'm gonna call it...Howard goes to Houston and Cleveland pulls off an Asik-Varejao deal

Jefferson and Bynum are not even on my list.

I'd add Mosgov to that list.

This is stuff relevant to the offseason. Grant sounded like a guy who will be aggressive.

Want balance between young players and vets. Young players need to play and grow. You also need experience to help them.

They will be active in FA. Backup PG, more shooting, and another big.

Will make more changes. Will look at lots of trades. Going to add a lot more guys.

Not fair to players to talk about untouchables. Excited about young guys but they are open to moves. Will take advantage of unique opportunities.

He didn't have a great finals, but have to wonder if we might put a bid in on Splitter

Fellas... Zeke Marshall is STILL waiting by the phone. Still. Waiting. Waiting. Bueller.... Bueller..... Anybody? Hello? Is this thing on?
