You forget that he hasn't had real success anywhere else prior to coming here and his games he played for the Browns were not amazing either. I feel like the best case scenario is we draft a guy this year and Hoyer is serviceable enough we can develop that QB a bit before throwing him to the wolves. I believe Hoyer is average at best which is fine provided we have another QB we are developing in the mean time.

I think he is an above average Qb but I do believe the plan should be to draft a QB and groom him...What Hoyer has done for other franchises doesn't matter. What matters is how he plays for us idc about the other teams.

It's one thing to classify Hoyer as a potential game manager, given the build up of weapons on offense and an improving offensive line.

But trying to pretend this guy is ever going to establish himself as an upper echelon QB is just being argumentative, there's no evidence of that at all.
