2014 NFL Free Agency Thread

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
At least he's not alone with shot in the dark guesses with little evidence.

Ohhh, neither do you. Just about what info we see as genuine vs. what we think is bullcrap.

I kid, I kid. If it was anyone else making the "this is all a ploy because Mack wants to come back" argument I probably wouldn't have given it so much shit.

Never thought I'd be giving a homer shit, but here we are. :chuckles:

2>1 Superbowl MVP vs Game manager on top 3 defense of all time.

If you cant see the comparison then you are just blind. Both NY teams were also underdogs in the playoffs and won mainly with defense. Eli is better than Diilfer for sure.

Now Dilfer is most likely the worst QB to ever win a SB, Eli is easily the worst qb to ever win multiple SB's.

If Eli was a F/A i would seriously make an offer, but the huge contract on top of the kings ransom it would take, not worth it.

There is no comparison Eli is way better by far.

Eli's stats are very underwhelming. He has only thrown over 30 or more TD's once, and that year he threw 25 int's.

Two things they both have in common. Career under 60% completion and both are INT machines.

:welcome: Dilfer never threw over 21.and the year he won the superbowl he threw 12 :chuckles:

This season, he ranked 27th out of 27 in accuracy percentage. For those curious, AP is completion percentage if you take out throwaways, spikes and dropped passes.

In 2012, he was 22nd out of 27.

But his memories of the Super Bowl will be great for the Browns players, since he can no longer lead a team there.

He threw 12 in 8 starts, but dont let the facts get in the way of your point.

Holy hell, make it stop. This is easily top 5 as far as dumbest back & forth in RCF since I've been here.

Please let's just move on.

Eli Manning is not worth this much discussion, especially when it's not even a legit rumor.

To be fair, if we do trade for Eli, then Haslam can say he brought 2 SB rings to Cleveland, then again, that would be something our previous ownership could say about Dilfer.

Has anyone seen anything about us possibly having interest in Eric Winston?
