2016-2017 Around The NBA

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
No it is not, dear god quit overrating Boston! They have 1 all star 0 superstars.

Holy shit man....it's OK for other teams to have really good starting 5's other than Cleveland.

Isiah Thomas is a borderline MVP candidiate this year and an All-Star

Avery Bradley is a top defensive 2G in the league...IMO he's an ever better defender than Klay who is widely recognized as the best 2G defender

Jae Crowder is a perfect compliment to those around him and also a very solid defender

Danilo Galinari would provide needed scoring from the 4 position, and also allow them to have (5) long distance shooters on the court in their starting unit

Horford is solid at center and also provides deep shooting ability

....not sure why people get so sensitive about Boston putting together a more competitive starting 5. If they can't land Paul George or decide it's too rich, Danilo is an excellent back-up plan that allows them to move Amir Johnson to the bench which is where he should be.

Haven't seen who they landed yet but I know they were inquiring about Doug McDermott.....would certainly help their outside shooting and open more lanes for Rusty....

Just updating, but it does appear that McDermott is on his way to OKC....sounds like Chicago is or was pushing for Cameron Payne as well. I fully expect Roberson to be on his way to Chicago though.

I do wonder if that has any implication on Butler...most likely not, but Chicago would have their fill in at the 3, while they tank the rest of the season.

So Chicago trades their only three point shooter for a non-three point shooter?

Good deal for OKC....

OKC officially gets Taj Gibson and Dougie McBuckets...OKC also somehow gets a 2nd rounder in this deal.

Chicago gets Anthony Morrow and Joffrey Lauvergne.

Transforms OKC's starting 5. McDermott at the 3 will stretch defenses, and now OKC has a legit PF starting instead of rookie Sabonis.

Westbrook
Oladipo
McDermott
Gibson
Adams

is a much more balanced and strong starting 5 than with Roberson and Sabonis is the starting 5.

OKC might not win a ship with that lineup.. but they can compete and will likely get Westbrook his MVP as long as he remains fire.

I disagree with Thomas being MVP like season, he's an all star not a superstar, superstars can actually play defense.

Bradley is a good player not an all star tho.

Crowder is an average starter.

Gallinari is another average starter.

Horford is a good player but not an all star.

And you know 1 thing no one on this team can do? REBOUND THE BASKETBALL!

WTF. I don't understand this from Chicago's perspective at all

The Raps kept their 2017 first? I thought it easy moved in the deal for Ibaka?
