70-8-6 is a better line than Kobe's 81.
Kobe did it while only getting to the line 20 times.
Shooting 60 percent, 7 from 13 from three. He was also a plus 25 on the court. And they got the win.
I think Booker's 70 is overrated, personally.
He was 21 for 40, sure that's efficient, but not unwordly hot. Just 4 from 11 from three, and again, the biggest number that stands out is 26 foul shots. Which is a lot.
You take away his 24 free throw makes, he scored just 46 points (which is still great), you take away Kobe's free throws he stilled scored 63 points. Think about, it Booker scored just 7 more points total than what Kobe did on the actual court not involving free throws, which speaks to how incredible his performance was.
Sure, his assist line looks great but he also turned it over 5 times, too, and was a negative on the court.
But either way, Booker had a hell of night. But I don't think it's even close to Kobe's 81 performance.
