I'm at that John Dewan webinar. Seriously awesome Webinar. Really entertaining guy. I asked about the Browns, but you have to submit questions and there are a ton of different companies asking a ton of different questions so I'm not sure if he will get to it. Some great info though. Will write up some things that stuck out after the webinar is over. He touched on some NBA and some NFL stuff as well. Said that analytics on a scale of 10 are only a 6 for baseball and comparatively the NFL is at a 2 or a 3. Said both still have a lot of growth to do.

As a white male, I would totally rock this shirt and think it's hilarious. Not even slightly offended. I'm more offended that Bomani would think that would offend white people.

Although his reasoning for liking the dollar sign is a little flawed, because if they changed the name of the team (to, say, the Spiders), they would make tons of money from people buying the new gear.

I will rock my CW gear forever. I mean I can get it to some peoples points, but it's a fucking sports team. I'm not wearing it outside an Indian reservation in Montana on horseback. As long as you don't get bitter when people try and tell you it's racist, who cares.


I literally had someone tell me to not wear my CW stuff on casual Friday's at work cause I work in the IT department I almost fell off my dinosaur I laughed so hard.

I know I'm in the minority opinion on this, but I think Chief Wahoo looks badass and I view wearing it as a source of pride almost. Growing up I always thought that we had the coolest logo in the league because it actually was a "character" and at the time the Tribe had the only logo in baseball that didn't have a letter, words, or script attached to it on the hats. I liked having that distinction. Ironically we "replaced" it with the blandest logo in the league with that block C.

I never viewed CW as something that was supposed to represent or portray actual Native American people, no more so than Tony the Tiger on a cereal box is meant to portray an actual tiger. It's an imaginary thing. I would hope most people my age feel that way.
