2016 WORLD SERIES Game #1 -|- Indians vs. Cubs -|- October 25th, 2016 @ 8:08 PM EST

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Cubs fans blaming this loss on their shitty at-bats with RISP, with zero regard for how good the Indians pitching is. And Andrew Miller wasn't even at his finest.

Promising to see Indians getting their bats going a little more to start the series. They need Nap and Kip to start hitting more consistently and I feel a lot better about our chances. Every game someone seems to step up, you gotta love it.

Little worried about our starting pitching moving forward, this is definitely a dangerous line-up but I think if the Indians continue to do all the little things right they are in position to keep on winning.

I still can not fathom with all the injuries how we are three games away from another parade. I am in shock.

Without the injuries we are 5 pitchers deep on a starting rotation. Kluber, Salazar, Carasco, Tomlin, Bauer.

That is 5 quality starting pitchers (say what you want about Bauer you can do worse as a #3 starter).

In the post season you have a kid Merritt that has no idea about the situation he is pitching in. He is the "too young to know better" and that works in our advantage.

They'll be blaming Bartman and the Goat soon. I hope and pray they also pull a Buckner.

Ross basically did except it was game 1 when Ross bobbled the ball on the first throw to second.

You're mixing your curses, but what the hell. I'm in if you can make it happen.

Tonight was great, but it will take a 3-0 lead for me to feel like we are in control.

True, but the mere fact that we're capable of actually enjoying this stuff without a gigantic knot in our stomach is a win in itself.

If we go up 3-0, I am going to Wrigley with a sign that says, "The New Curse of the GOAT" with a picture of Andrew Miller.

Not sure why but I felt really good about that Perez at bat as soon as the pitcher let go. I stuck my hands up in the air like I was freaking Gilbert Arenas. Good to see an unlikely hero rise to the top. It makes me feel good to see that and have Ramirez & Lindor flip the switch.

I don't know enough words to describe the pitching I saw, so I will just stick with they were amazing.

Not sure why but I feel like this series is all us. I love that no one is giving our team credit for continuing to do what we do.

Is it just me or do the Cubs crowd the plate? Would love to see someone get them off the plate in game 2.

Anyone else see that commercial by fox Cleveland after the game? It basically said we're thankful to the Indians. Then it ended by saying we're also thankful we don't have to watch on TBS.

@AZ_ want to hear your thoughts on pulling Kluber when they did earlier and Miller going as long as he did.

Bringing him back in 4 is why that's done. Definitely had gas in the tank, maybe burned Miller for tomorrow, but you cross the bridge when you get to it.

Miller lacked his usual control, but he got it done.

Miller's outing last night reminded me of his first postseason appearance against the Sox. Didn't have his best stuff, but still did enough to get through unscathed.

Hopefully the offense pours it on tonight, as I don't think he will be available for anything more than an out or two at the most after throwing 46 pitches last night.
