2017-18 Cleveland Indians Offseason

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
I remember getting torched not too long ago for suggesting 2016 may have been our best, last chance in our lifetimes. Certainly doesn't seem as controversial now with perspective.

Well, I don't plan on dying anytime soon, so "lifetimes" may be a stretch but for a while? Yeah, possibly, that's baseball in a small market city. Really disappointed with how this offseason is going but I'll wait and see what the team looks like in April before fading off into defeat.

First Thome and now Carlos

We just lose our 1B to Philly I guess.

Because it isn't.

This team will once again cakewalk to the playoffs in 2018. All you need is a chance in baseball, and anything can happen.

Also, a lifetime for some of us is still 50+ years (hopefully)...blanket statements for 5 decades don't work.

Yeah unlike EE, JD Martinez isn't a 34 year old that can only play in the American League. Jensen Lewis must have hit the pipe early this morning.

I just have a sinking feeling that the Tribe is going to trot out a Matt Adams/Mike Napoli platoon at 1B next season.

Yes, it still does..
