I don't understand how it's almost March and guys like Arrieta, Cobb, Morrison, Moose, Lynn, Lucroy, Duda, Walker, Jay, Holland, etc. are all just sitting out there.

Arrieta is a borderline Cy Young contender for cryin' out loud.

Nah, he was good last year, but he's trending downward quickly. He's asking for Darvish money, but he'd be the 4th best starter (maybe) on our team.

Because they all want more than what teams are offering? Morrison just settled for 6.5m after the Tribe offed him 2/20m earlier. The remaining guys either have Scott Boras as their agent or have Scott Boras wannabes as their agents. Scott somehow manages to go late into the offseason and still get his clients paid; other guys get their lunches handed to them. Holland grossly overplayed his hand, as I don't see any club giving up both a draft pick and whatever crazy salary he is looking for (turned down not only 1 15m option, but then the 18m qualifying offer). Alot for a guy one year back from TJ who looks like he lost something despite the numbers. Not to mention he isn't a multi-inning horse like Allen or Miller or Wade Davis. Lucroy I can only think isn't willing to do a one-year, make good deal. Lucas Duda is Lucas Duda. Alex Cobb and the Incredible Shrinking K/9 (6.5. Lower than Lil Cowboy). Lucas Duda signs when Chris Carter signs. I have no idea who exactly Moustakas' market is suposed to be. I just see guys who their agents misread the market and left their clients out in the cold.

I wouldn't be against signing Moose and move Jose to 2B and trade Kipnis for another arm. Only problem is we have so many lefties, and do we really want to trade a ton for one year of Machado?

The biggest problem is the fact Kipnis’s value is way down and even the teams who need an everyday 2B weren’t even willing to give us his value back. He is a good player, but every team will try and give us as little as possible cause of his last season. If we were gonna trade him we would have by now.

Honestly...what role does Napoli have for this team? Backup 1B and DH? I haven't done any roster crunching, but I can't imagine a guy with limited position value can fit on this roster.
