NBA players have to pay state income tax in any state they play. So if he comes here for a game, he pays that games earnings state tax. So he is saving 41 games worth of state tax, but it's not as big as people make it out to be.The one thing about the Spurs that might make it a tough decision is the fact that he won't have to pay state income tax in Texas. That makes the salaries a lot closer iirc. He'd still make the most staying in LA, but SA isn't as far off because of the tax
I'd bet an entire cow that he's staying, Blake is gone and Deandre is traded for Melo.
