2017-2018 Around the NBA

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Suns management did a great job screwing up the return they’re going to get for Bledsoe.

Their own fault for 1.) shutting him down against his will when healthy to tank and 2.) severely overvaluing him this summer.

One thing for sure is that they have zero chance at the Brooklyn pick unless they wanna talk Booker.

Trash organization.

Damn, what did James Jones get himself into...

Is Andre Drummond even a decent defender?

He got lit up by Porzingis, Kanter, and O'Quinn last game and Embiid is killing him again tonight.

Ok so when are NBA defenders gonna back up off of Simmons.

Right now he absolutely looks like the runaway favorite for ROY.

Embiid/Simmons: 18/23

Rest of the team: 14/45

He & Embiid look incredible. If those two stay healthy the Sixers could be amazing in a couple years.

I would take Bledsoe off their hands in exchange for the NJ pick *plus* THEIR first round pick. That Phoenix first round pick is going to be gold, like the old time Nets picks were. No more sitting around worrying if the Nets are going to win some games!

Embiid/Simmons are incredible talents. Too bad they are stuck with Colangelo.

No reason to give up that much for Fultz.

Did anyone watch the Minny-OKC game the other night? Great game. There was a ton of talent on that floor. The Wolves starting five is loaded -- Wiggins is looking more fluid and confident than before, could be a breakout year for him, and when Butler is sharing the floor with Wiggins and KAT he can focus on defense. Teague is a perfect distributor in that lineup, and Gibson has always been an excellent role player. They lack depth of course though.

OKC is even more loaded, but Westbrook / PGIII / Carmelo have not figured out how to divide alpha duties. They will though. Westbrook already looks better with other offensive threats around him.

My daughter is a big basketball fan and goes to Portland State University in downtown. While waiting for her public transit train, she notices this tall guy standing next to her. She looks up and it's Anthony Davis. Then Boogie and Rondo walk up. She froze and she was the only one around that recognized them. No one else even said anything. They were standing there waiting to get on their team bus which pulled up shortly. Hilarious. She almost missed her train she was so excited but couldn't say a word. Just froze. They are playing the Blazers tomorrow night. Thought that was funny and had to share it with my Cavalier brothers here.

And the Grizz come from behind to hand Houston their first loss of the season.

Imagine beating a team like Toronto while missing LeBron, the way San Antonio did tonight w/o Kawhi.

What it would be like to have decent coaching....

Ok Jamal Murray they swore to me you were some kinda star in the making 20% shooting isn't gonna get it.

Without 2 rotation pieces too, including a starter.

Someone said somewhere on this board that Memphis won't make the playoffs...couldn't believe someone wrote that. Conley and Gasol still there, they're deeper, younger, and more athletic.

Fizdale is a great coach too. Can see why LeBron hyped him up so much while he was in Miami.

Really?

Lue should have the same or equal system set up in 1.5 years as Pop has in 20?

And have that ready to go 4 games into this year with 8 new players(Spurs played 9 guys steady minutes tonight, 7 of which were on the team last year)

Meanwhile, Jonas V was out and so of course the Spurs feasted inside and killed the Raps on the boards 56-33

But lets just look for a quick way to get a dig in at Lue though

Ok. Ty Lue is a poor basketball coach.

More?
