i'm sorry but the all-star voting is a joke.. weird popularity contest.
Kemba Walker and IT.. poor guys. Having monster seasons, they can't even get in playing like that why even continue playing? just retire.

Dude, relax, this only accounts for the starters. The rest is picked by coaches, and now I think writers and players too?

I agree Zaza leading the front court is a joke I'm not getting?

But Kyrie should lead all guards. We got the best record in the East, he's the best guard in the East.

I think both will make the team for the record. Wade won't play.

Who are they going to replace?

Last year :D

What the hell is this? Some running joke or something?

I've always been for fan voting for the starters personally, but if he really does make it, then it should end.

The PG position is stacked bro.

Kyrie, Lowry, Wall, Kemba & IT are all killing it this season. One of them will almost certainly have to be left out...it's a numbers game.

How's the new voting system work exactly? I wanna see Zaza make it because its just hilarious

Fan votes count for 50%.
Players votes count for 25%.
Media votes count for 25%.

As far as the particulars, it's hard to say beyond this. My guess is that ZaZa will not be named an All-Star as the Players and Media will override the fans.

So if the players go full troll mode and vote Zaza, there's a chance !! LETS GO ZAZA!

I'm waiting for the inevitable certain posters turning this thread into a mess explaining why Kyrie shouldn't make it in over Lowry, Wall, Kemba, or Thomas.

My predictions for the East all-stars

F - Love
F - LeBron
F - Giannis
G - DeRozan (replaces Wade who I doubt plays)
G - Irving

Reserves

F - Butler
F - Anthony
G - Lowry
G - Walker
G - Thomas
G - George
C - Drummond

Drummond is the wild card. I could see him. Maybe Horford gets in instead being on a better team.

But Kemba and Thomas IMO both make it over George, even if Wade does play. George isn't having the greatest of season's. I doubt he gets in over Thomas or Walker.

Both will be an all-star IMO.

The bold are the two I'm not sure about. I think Wall, even though he's a whining asshole on a losing team, deserves to be in it over George. George really doesn't deserve to make it IMO. But can they justify having 5 point guards on the roster?

Lowry, Kemba(debatable) and IT have had a better season so far than Kyrie. I get why he should start, best team in the east and he has had a great season so far, it's just that the other guys are on a tear.
But 4 of the Hawks were all-stars 2 years ago (Haha) and Kyrie is still the most fun player to watch.

Edit: Sorry Jscc lol

What they're going to do is take the rank based on the vote. So, let's say Kyrie is 1st in fan voting, 4th among players, and 2nd among media. The fan vote is 50%, so its twice as much.

1+1+4+2 = 8

Divided by 4 = 2. Whichever players have the lowest totals will be starters.

Sigh, here we go.

Wall doesn't deserve to make it. His team IMO has some talent, and they aren't in a playoff spot right now. Fuck him, and his whining attitude.

Let him sit at home and cry into his beer mug.
