We always make excuses

:chuckle:

and dismiss criticism from outside sources as trolling.

I didn't call the guy a troll; I said he was lazy. I explained why he was lazy.

Laziness tends to be a thing in these kinds of discussions unfortunately.

Is there really an axe to grind with these writers, or maybe there is some truth to what they're saying?

@godfather pretty much ran through the entirety of the logic..

We all agree who is ahead of Irving.. well, not all of us.. :chuckle:

But anyone with any understanding of mathematics/statistics should understand how flawed that article's logic is....

Nah, Kyrie just isn't 100%.

Given how much he relies on his change of direction and rhythm finishing around the rim, if his hammy is less than 100%, it is going to show up.

He's trying to be a good teammate and play through it but he's clearly not right. He hasn't looked like this in a long time.

If Kyrie is out there and playing without a minutes restriction I'm not going to steph curry him and blame it on injury when he's bad.

Jon is going to have a field day.

Kyrie has been some kind of trash lately, and I believe part of it is because Delly isnt around to keep him fresh. Dude has dead legs more than usual.

We need an effective back up guard sooner rather later. Kay is getting chances, but it's not working.

Also Lue's rotation is complete ass. Enough with the 5 out, 5 in. LeBron has to start the 2nd to make Kay even remotely effective. That's what made Delly so effective last season. The 2nd unit was sometimes better than the 1st.

Bottom line, Kyrie needs a proven backup. Find us a 6 point 4 assist backup please.

Lol.. I see you putting in work man, you not slick!

You pushing that Rondo narrative something tough bro.. :chuckle:

At this point... NO, I have to keep telling myself that. I am not sure if it is him or what I see out on the court but if it makes people want Rondo something needs done.

Rondo is a fucking bum. I had to deal with the false hope among kings fans last year. He hasn't been good in years and burns every bridge he crosses.

Gonna say what I said in the game thread.

Am I the only one questioning why we are doing "defensive walkthroughs" instead of actual practices?
Seriously? Okay, I can take a stab at it: because the Cavs were down to, what, 10 men a week ago, because a bunch of them are still clearly recovering, because there's an nba flu epidemic, because they are in the middle of long roadtrip, because they were on a back to back, because they got in at 5:15 a.m., because it's a veteran team that has a decent idea what they are doing.... and perhaps the coaches and the training staff have a reasonable idea about what their bodies and minds need

This has been going on for ~3 weeks now, if you've listened to Ty Lue's pressers the last few weeks...

At this point gouri, in all seriousness, Cavs need a backup PG. I'll even take Rio now, he shot his best from 3 while with LeBron, he can get you around 4 assist as well.

Rondo is a dream anyways. Well 2 dreams in 1. The 2 being he comes here, and is an disciplined grade A student.

I'm becoming tired of the D-Leaguers of Kay, McRae, and Liggs. Liggs can stay, but we need a few guys.

There's always an excuse. How about he just needs to play better?
