I too would rather have Kyrie on my team than Harden and everybody agreeing with it isn't good enough for you? How much does it need to be spelled out? This is truly splitting hairs if you read this and think they don't believe Kyrie is better.

I reluctantly put Harden ahead but don't really feel that way also isn't damning?

My team doesn't equal cavaliers necessarily.

Do you really think "would rather have Kyrie on this team" is the same as "Kyrie is better than Harden"?

You are on RealCAVSFans.com..."my team" is the Cavaliers for everyone but a select few posters who we all know about, and those 3 aren't any of them...

Good God man...you are just looking for excuses to get into arguments now...

That's because this thread has been mucked up with posts like "you need to plot data points." I quoted three different people that said they would take Kyrie over harden.

This is just awful...

Whenever you're told to look closer at the data you refuse. Now you're complaining about being told to look at a fucking graph?

Give me a break.

And you're straight up lying about the quotes... You've been called out on this three different times...

Again, who are you trying to fool??

The guy who misrepresented my argument multiple times and disagrees by posting inappropriate pictures and character assassination is calling me a liar?

You want to make it more complicated than it needs to be. What's wrong with career stats? Or maybe just using past three years?

I'm not lying about the quotes. How is pulling actual quotes lying? You guys are back peddling more than Michael Jackson moon walking.

Anybody with real sense understands what it means but we are going to split hairs because it doesn't say exactly a certain phrase word for word? You give me a break.

One poster said "I'd put Harden over Kyrie". One poster said "I'd place Harden ahead of Kyrie as a player on my list". Another agreed with both of them. But all 3 also looked at how Harden would fit on this team compared to Kyrie, which has nothing to do with who is better than the other.

You're the one splitting hairs, and looking for anything and everything to continue your current tangent that Kyrie just isn't good enough right now, which the majority of this board has already agreed with you on.

The guy who misrepresented by argument multiple times

You haven't made an argument.

and disagrees by posting inappropriate pictures

Posting a picture of Kyrie Irving in the Kyrie Irving thread is inappropriate?

Dude, you posted like 8 pictures of your dog... ffs, man, are u serious right now?

and character assassination

:chuckle: WTF is this shit?

is calling me a liar?

Are you being honest right now about people putting Irving ahead of Harden or nah? Just going to keep repeating the shit even though we can all read it for ourselves.. How many times do you need to be called out for this?

You want to make it more complicated than it needs to be. What's wrong with career stats? Or maybe just using past three years?

This has already been explained.

If you want to go by the last three years, that's fine by me.. But that has nothing to do with the point being made regarding "data points," which described using a moment in time, within the season, to compare what looks to be Irving's floor vs. that of other's ceilings (see Lowry) and call that an accurate comparison of the totality of these players (see your comments re: "maybe this is just who he is?")

I'm not lying about the quotes.

Sure you are.

How is pulling actual quotes lying? You guys are back peddling more than Michael Jackson moon walking.

TyGuy, you literally said 3 posters said Irving was better than Harden, and those three quotes are on the last 3 pages. @BimboColesHair , @thedarkness2332 , @Rob and @godfather have commented on these quotes, as have I. You've taken them completely out of context and misrepresented what they clearly say.

All the people in that conversation said Harden was better than Irving. The only question was whether or not you'd take Irving over Harden in the playoffs, on this team.

And the reason I'm pointing this out to you; is because I've actually clarified the point a few hours ago to you -- so, at this point you're either completely unaware of my posts, are deliberately misrepresenting what I'm saying (trolling/lying), or are simply oblivious to the point being made.

You tell me what's what and I'll go from there...

Anybody with real sense understands what it means but we are going to split hairs because it doesn't say exactly a certain phrase word for word? You give me a break.

Real sense?

How many folks in this thread have real sense? Just you?

How many agree with what you're saying right now? Not about Kyrie Irving, but about this little fit you're throwing?

Anybody that disagrees with goury you go for character assassination and I'm not the first person to notice or say it. You take things out of context; especially with multiquote.

Take your bologna first quote for instance. Your response. " you haven't made an argument." No I didn't make one there, but for the sixth time you misrepresented an old argument of mine about equating me criticizing Irving as blaming losses on him. You just brush this aside and later quote me again and act like I haven't said this multiple times. Your multiquote just gives you the ability to redefine the argument as you see fit by either taking things out of context or just misrepresenting the argument entirely.

Isn't that disengenous? Something you have accused me of for no rational reason. You're are more guilty and then some of what you accuse others of being or doing.

I want to know how posting a picture of a women inserting a tampon in response to what i said is not appropriate. Tell me how that would go over in an actual debate.

If we counted up how many posts of yours in this thread were purely you whining, how many do you think it'd be?

I'm making the claim about your comments adding up to blaming Irving after a loss, for the loss. I'm not misrepresenting your argument by saying this; I'm making one myself. You don't understand that?

Isn't that disengenous?

No.

I'm saying it clearly, and without hesitation.. You come here to shit on Kyrie Irving and you unfairly blame losses on him. How am I being in anyway disingenuous?

How could I be any more straight forward than I have been?

Something you have accused me of for no rational reason. You're are more guilty and then some of what you accuse others of being or doing.

How am I being disingenuous?

Do you understand what disingenuous means?

dis·in·gen·u·ous
ˌdisənˈjenyo͞oəs/
adjective
  1. not candid or sincere, typically by pretending that one knows less about something than one really does.

If the argument is that I'm overly zealous in my defense in Kyrie Irving, and I admit as much, how does that make me "disingenuous?"

I want to know how posting a picture of a women inserting a tampon in response to what i said is not appropriate.

So you're belly-aching about some shit that happened days ago? Tonight, at 10:20PM PST?

For real?

Is it that deep?

Better fucking call 9-1-1 bro... tell'em bout that Irving thread... maybe they'll listen to this shit..

Tell me how that would go over in an actual debate.

What debate? You haven't presented an argument bro...

What do you want to debate? Let's go.. let's have this "debate." What's the topic? Kyrie Irving?

World Champion.

What's next?

@TyGuy

What are you on about anyway man?

Enough of this... Just say your peace and be done with it.

This thread should not be a 99 Theses about your problems with Pope Gour... It should be about Kyrie Irving..

Here we go again, flooding the thread with pictures and videos after doing everything possible to frame the person as:

Stupid
Misinformed
Disingenuous
Untrustworthy
Vindictive
Hostile
A liar

All while simultaneously using crude language with a snarky greater than thou tone, and posting emotes for good measure.

Why can't you ever debate people just on the merits of their argument alone instead of going to great lengths to discredit the poster and not their argument?

You discredit the argument by discrediting the poster. Which proves effective in this environment, but in any serious debate it would be frowned upon, and considered a fallacy.

This is 2nd the time this season this thread has devolved into this. First it was David and gouri, now ty and gouri. Maybe a a little too passionate in ur defense gouri? Possibly?

Rich.. Just to be clear, the last time Ty posted just as much as either Dave or myself... This seems to be just an extension of that last conversation... And for some reason this has turned into a personal conversation about me.. which is strange.. to say the least.

Nobody wants to read this shit, least of all me.

We're not debating as you haven't presented an argument.

If you want a debate, then present an argument.... Otherwise you're just wasting time.

The rest of what you said is irrelevant so I'll let it go.

Don't forget Jon. That one got the first Kyrie thread locked forever. It was blamed on the people who criticized Kyrie though and none of the people perpetuating the arguments were blamed at all.
