I saw people in the game thread saying he was hurt, was that not just speculation? Honestly I just assumed Lue left him & Love and others on the bench because they sucked and the players on the floor came back and won the game.

His defense has just been atrocious all season including the playoffs. When he isn't shooting well he's a liability as was the case tonight.

Hes gotta be hurt, he hasnt looked the same for months. His dribbling and finishing just look completely off.

I'd like to know how healthy he is. He's always made bad decisions on the court, but his effort is not 100%, and during last year's playoffs his effort was never a problem as far as I remember. He's also been settling for 3's too often.

No way around it. Kyrie needs to win us game 4.

I know LeBron will be rested, but we shouldn't be counting on him playing 45 mins to beat Indiana. Get it done Kyrie.

Paul George is a great player, but he should not be the 2nd best player in this series.

George is widely regarded as a better overall player than Kyrie. So I don't think he needs to outplay George. I'd be happy if Kyrie just played like the best version of himself, particularly on defense. Maybe he's injured or something, but he just isn't giving playoff caliber effort on defense. I feel like Kyrie hasn't even tried on defense for long stretches of this series. And when he isn't trying, the Cavs are already playing on the backfoot on every defensive possession. We know he's capable of playing solid defense because there have been moments in this very series where he has tried and it has actually yielded positive results. But those moments have been too fleeting amidst long streches of apathy on defense.

I'm not remotely worried about his offense though. He's arguably the most talented scorer in the league and he will figure it out.

The last time Kyrie had a game this bad was game 3 against Toronto when he went 3-19. Came back to put up 26-6-3 on 11-21 shooting. Hopefully his three point shooting rebounds.

Shooters sometimes miss shots

And then they make every shot

That's what shooters go through

Its not only his shooting, because bad shooting nights could happen to anyone, but the big problem is his defense.....he is one of the weakest defenders in the league! he is James Harden like defender...

His three point shot looks arm dominated at the mo. More that usually might mean his knee is still sore. Let hope a sweep and a fews days rest will help him

Yep. People are still overrating Kyrie. He is a fantastic scorer. Imo, one of the five best scorers in the NBA. After that? He just doesn't produce much and defensively, the guy is a sieve. I imagine he must be injured as well. He doesn't have to outplay George or even "win" the next game. He just can't suck.

Is he hurt or not? If he's hurt why not sit him Game 4: even if we lose I highly doubt we lost Game 5 back at home

I don't think he's healthy. This is me just guessing. But Kyrie struggled to get to the spots he wanted to get to, and just looked a step slower than usual.

Maybe he was just that off. The fact that Kyrie himself said he's had lingering knee issues has me worried about his health to be honest.

Another season why we need to finish the Pacers off fast. Get him rest.

Cavs know this
Ain't shit we can do about it

Just win as many titles as we can with the king until he's past his prime

Well he did not at anytime hit the biggest shot in Cleveland sports history against the "GOD NBA SAVIOR" Curry last year to help basically win a title. Lets forget all that and make excuses. I hate I have to repeat this like a broken fucking record all the time... A LeBron led team will do this and LeBron gives no fucks until he has to. Also Kyrie was first off the bench to cheer the comeback. You all read way to much into this team, for fucks sake just enjoy the ride.

Couldn't even get on the court in the 2nd half.... Trade him.

I heard Jose Calderon and Jarret jack are available.

perhaps he could net us Ish Smih, Ty Lawson or Brandon Jennings or Patty mills
