no hard questions asked. Didn't ask him if he would have played out his contract, how a trade denial would have affected him...

This kid is a fucking idiot. The aloof arrogance is stifling.

Kyrie just reeks of jealousy imo. He says he has no ego, and it is the complete opposite. His ego is insane. He thinks he is smarter than everyone else and that he can do better without LeBron freakin James?

I bet Kyrie wanted out after 1 year of playing with LeBron, when he realized that he wasn't the man anymore. He got jealous, it was his team for a couple years starting as a rookie and he could do whatever he wants. Then it all changes in one day when LeBron comes in. Even though Kyrie got so much insane benefit from LBJ on so many levels, primarily playing championship level basketball after playing lottery basketball the year before. Talk about a shift and heck of a gift. But he would rather be jealous of LBJ? LBJ was grooming him to take over anyway and Kyrie was still getting the ball and shots just as much.

I'm glad he is gone though. It's obvious he was the tension in the locker room. His little group was the only group that was separate from the team. I'm so glad Kyrie isn't suffering anymore, being taken to the Finals every year.

Shout out to Kevin Love.

That interview was tough to watch. I can kind of understand where he was coming from when they kept bringing up LeBron, but it wouldn't keep happening if he just answered the question. Kellerman even gave him an out, and he wouldn't take it.

Either way, kyrie just became an even more interesting follow after all this.

If Kyrie was mad about always being in Lebron's shadow... Well, now he likely made sure that he always will be.

Here is his truth/reality (my speculation):
Things soured between Bron/Kyrie and in reading between the lines I think it's because his camp blames LeBron and his team for leaking the trade request that only he and the front office should've known about. In doing so he felt betrayed by the front office who weren't professional and LeBron who made it public thus hurting his image.

Channeling my inner Kyrie: These actions were external in nature but the true internal turmoil sipping though the exterior was that the team felt the need to consult with LeBron about not only trades he was involved with prior to the official trade request but revealing the trade request to him solidified how low he was in the pecking order in the eyes of the front office and the ownership group.

Your theory seems plausible.

If Kyrie told the Cavs prior to the draft his ass should have been dealt period for Butler/George/CP3. You could argue the first 2 would have been upgrades and it would be an easy explanation to Lebron why you did so with Kyrie's secret trade demand.

What I still don't get is why would LBJ leak it, what does he really gain from it. His current team loses trade value, the media will place at least some blame on him regardless, just not seeing the end game for his camp to leak it to Windhorst.

Hey Kyrie wherever your bitch as goes, LBJ will be the question people ask

Kyrie who

This isn't about Basketball. That is hate. Lebron must've fucked his bitch or something.

And Bozo Irving didn't do anything positive to benefit his marketability whether it's the uncle drew thing, products, cars, etc. Any company considering taking him on now probably thinks do we want this jackass? He can't put ten words together but he can ball a bit I'll give him that.

Holy Hell.

When Kyrie was asked who was better between LeBron and Durant, Kyrie said "You reward guys for winning. And he went to Golden State and won. He is a solidified champion now!"

WHAT THE FUCK?

:chuckle::chuckle:

This thread is STILL in CavsTalk.

Everyone is perfectly capable of navigating their way over to Around The NBA where the thread for Boston Celtics PG Kyrie Irving belongs.

Are we really going to leave a thread about the Boston Celtics starting PG in CavsTalk all the way through training camp and the opener? And if we are to leave this horse corpse here, can we at least get a thread title change to "Boston Celtics PG Kyrie Irving"?

Now don't get me wrong, I'm not a Boston Celtics PG Kyrie Irving hater. At all. Will never forget the Shot or not appreciate all the exciting play and clutch shots that he had as a member of the Cavs but those days are in the past and Kyrie is in Boston, by his own desire and request. Just hoping we can have discussion about Boston Celtics PG Kyrie Irving's quest for self knowledge and "seeking his truth" over in the spacious and relaxing Around the NBA forum where we talk about other players in the NBA who do not play for the Cleveland Cavaliers.

Losers stick together.

It's going to be so fun to watch Bron "son" him every chance he gets.
