2017 Cleveland Indians

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Jose is almost certainly the most valuable player
It was Kellerman and Stephen A, the two premiere authorities on MLB analysis today.

I will say, ESPN sucks, but I really enjoy some of their dedicated MLB analysts like Olney and Kurkjian. Those guys aren't mere entertainers like the above.

I watch MLB Network instead. It lacks some of the polish, but there's a lot less b.s. and politics stuff. They just talk baseball.

I would. Sadly I dont get it.

I have confidence in all of our top 6. Miller, Allen, Shaw, Smith, Goody, Olson.
Not gonna lie... Despite recently showing great velocity and movement (even at 70+ appearances), I still get dyspeptic when Shaw takes the mound in a one run game.

As a casual baseball fan, I find myself turning to it to get my daily sports fix. Ill poke my head around everywhere else for any major news, but thats about it.

Sirius MLB radio is legit as they come. Great talk shows and they have Indians fever.

I like MLB network for the most part. They seem to be a lot less biased and honest. It helps they have former players and they have guys who played for the Indians/root for the Indians on there so they actually do a good job of covering ever team, though it's usually the winning teams first.

Wish the team talked about Brantley more, it's like they're ignoring it. Pre-game, post-game, Andre reporting in-game, it's too quiet.

My call is Tribe plays him the last 4-5 games basically sending him out on assignment.

What are they going to say?

He's still not pain-free, thus no timetable

I personally believe that the deadline for him to be ready for the ALDS has long passed

Well, to your credit, you also believed Kipnis was done and getting surgery from Dr. Doom.

I'm a man of hope, I believe in Brantley having some capacity in the playoffs. Tito wants him there.

I wanting to see when Brantley starts running and everything like that. Also I am waiting to see if they move someone to the 60 day DL or not since I right now I don't think Allen can be used on the playoff roster until then.

I read a dated article stating that Brantley is taking the right steps, he's not rushing 'yet' because he doesn't want to be set back. He said his patience is wearing thin.

My guess is Indians are saving him and being very extra cautious to make sure they have him at least 80% when it's showtime. I have a strong feeling we see him again.

I don't think he will be back in games until about a week left in the season.

Love the optimism, guys, but there's 14 games left in the season after tonight. That'd mean Brantley would have to be medically cleared and finish his running program within the next week for him to be back in the last week of the season. I'm just trying to be realistic....

I'm excited to see what Kipnis can do in the OF and I'd love to see Brantley back but again, trying to be realistic. This streak itself has kinda hid the lack of production the Indians have gotten from outfielders over the span of the streak.....
