YesI haven't looked at it too closely, but wouldn't OSU win any 3 OR 4 team tiebreaker?
Meaning, MSU AND PSU would have to lose another game?

They'd win a 4 team. That's why if PSU and MSU win out, we'd still go.I haven't looked at it too closely, but wouldn't OSU win any 3 OR 4 team tiebreaker?

Welp, this isn't quite true. Give me a few minutes and I'll get back. But there is definitely a scenario where we lose the tiebreaker. They'd win a 4 team. That's why if PSU and MSU win out, we'd still go.
We'd lose a 3 team tiebreaker with Michigan and either PSU or MSU. First tiebreaker is record between the 3 teams, and we'd all be 1-1. Next tiebreaker is overall record. Because we have the OK loss, we'd lose that tiebreaker to both UM and PSU.
From what I've seen, that is not true. It is divisional record. They'd win a 4 team. That's why if PSU and MSU win out, we'd still go.

Yeah. Assuming we beat Illinois, I think the only scenario we don't make it is Michigan wins out with BOTH MSU AND PSU losing another game.Welp, this isn't quite true. Give me a few minutes and I'll get back. But there is definitely a scenario where we lose the tiebreaker.

Of course, given the teams on all their schedules...all that is highly, highly unlikely.
We are going to Indianapolis. It's as close to a certainty as you can get without being a certainty.
I mean...theoretically, Michigan could beat Wisconsin (lol), beat us (lol), PSU loses to Maryland or Nebraska (lol) and MSU loses to Maryland or Rutgers (lol).Alright, so apparently I was way off and we do any 3 or 4 team tiebreaker.
First tiebreaker after head to head is division record, not overall record.
We win a 3-4 team tie, because both us and MSU would be 2-1 and PSU/UM would be 1-2. We'd then beat MSU on head to head.
We also win a 3 team tie with Michigan and either PSU or MSU. In any 3 team tie, we'd all be 1-1, which would trigger the division tiebreaker, which would eliminate either PSU or UM, then we'd win the H2H over MSU if we needed.
I was thinking back to last year when if UM/OSU/PSU had tied, it would've gone done to overall record to eliminate PSU, because the previous tiebreakers were ties.I mean...theoretically, Michigan could beat Wisconsin (lol), beat us (lol), PSU loses to Maryland or Nebraska (lol) and MSU loses to Maryland or Rutgers (lol).
If ALL that happens...then Michigan goes.
First team Bama has played all year and look what happens. Amazing.Bama is in some trouble... could be down 11 early in the 4th if Miss St. punches it in...
Bama's defense is not what it's been in the past, from the games I've seen of them this year.
