2017 Draft Prospects Thread

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Dont ever mention that piece of shit movie again, for most of us on here we know just how stupid and ridiculous that story line really was.

Embarrassing.

I've never seen Draft Day.

that much more laughable to the casual NFL fan.
Who the hell cares?

Also still one of my favorite quotes is when @Randolphkeys said when everyone was worried about what people would say if we went 0-16 and Keys just came out and said no one would dare mock this team if they went 2-14

The Browns will be made fun of until they start winning. I guarantee if the Browns had already made it clear they were drafting Myles then people would still laugh at them and say "leave it to the Browns to not even attempt to get a good return for moving down a few picks"

This team is a joke until they win. I'd recommend tuning it out.

So, according to the PFF "draft trade chart" it would take something like:

2017: 12th, 33rd
2018: 2/3 of our 2nd rounders, maybe get away with a later.

Now of course, in the moment, things can change. But if that's what it took to move up to #2 and get Trubisky:

Yeah, that's too expensive.

That said... if they are that sold on Trubisky, I'd rather them give up that package to move up to 2 and still end up with Myles Garrett versus them taking Trubisky at 1 and missing out on Garrett entirely.

The Browns should be interested, however they shouldn't pay more than the traditional value chart, most likely less. This isn't a draft with a clear #2 talent, so don't pay like Trubisky is Marcus Mariota. If I'm the Niners, I'm nothing short of desperate to move down and get more picks. Their talent is depleted at just about every position but fullback.

I would pay that for Allen or Lattimore before Trubiaky, tbh.

Garrett with either on of those two could be defensive anchors for a long time.

I'll tell you what won't work for the Niners: drafting Trubisky at #2 with super high expectations, no receivers aside from Garcon, a broken down Carlos Hyde, and a shaky line... Not to mention a defense that was only better than one team last year. That's Tim Couch all over again. They need to move that pick. No idea if it's the Browns who pays the price, but the desperation is clear.
