2017 Minor League Thread

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Bradley seems like a non-factor at this point.
Non-factor is pretty harsh- he is only 21 at AA, he has time to improve. If he was as old as, say, Greg Allen, I would be more concerned. He has improved the K rate, too, so he is showing some improvement. Remember, someone like Jesus Aguilar- whom this board also dubbed useless- has gone on to Milwaukee and been pretty serviceable despite having no bat speed. Bradley may no longer have people dreaming of a young Ryan Howard but he certainly isn't into 'non-factor' territory at his age- let's see how he handles repeating AA next year being a year older and wiser.
Santana put up way better numbers in the minors.
Santana put up better #s in the minors than tons of guys- it's part of the reason why he is so despised, because those #s had people expecting Mickey Mantle. He ended up just being good/very good and never gained respect. Again, Bradley is 21 at an advanced level and despite the slide in some production areas has gotten more selective- that bodes well. He may never be even an average contact hitter but if he shows he can control the zone he can make the most of his power and find a path to the bigs. He isn't anywhere near, say, Nellie Rodriguez levels of whiffing.

Non-factor at this point

The international signing pool appears to have done wonders for what the Tribe can afford on the international market.

Indians SHOULD have three guys in the Top 40 prospects.

Francisco Mejia
Triston McKenzie
Nolan Jones - Might be the best prospect in the system IMO

How well do you see Jones's defense at 3B progressing in the next few seasons? He hasn't put up good numbers at the hot corner when it comes to defense yet so I was wondering if they were going to keep him there cause he is better than his number say or is the jury still out on the move to 3rd from being a college SS?

He never went to college, but he had the potential to stick at SS.

He'll be fine at 3rd, with the potential for more.

I meant the level he was at before we drafted him. I always say college for everyone for whatever reason, lol

Anyone on your ranking board for our farm system that is really jumping up in your mind and someone who is really falling down it?

Haven't gotten much into it.

Maybe will this off-season.
