So looking back, that trade for Lucroy would have been disastrous. We would have given up WAAAAAY too much... I almost wanna thank him.

Some of us are quite happy he said no...

Allen, Mejia, Chang, and Armstrong all have bright MLB futures IMO. Absolute haul, and only would have been tolerable if they had re-signed Lucroy.

I'd rather have the kids, especially after watching Mejia hit this spring. And if I remember right, it was you hyping/crushing on Yandy before anyone else. This was the first place I heard his name. That kid is going to be a freaking star.

I was crushing on Allen before everyone...Ed Monix was crushing on Chang...Boobie was crushing on Diaz first, I believe.

Is Allen a speedy leadoff hitter/base stealing type? Because I feel like that's the only thing this offense doesnt have right now.

High OBP guy, with 40+ SB speed, and a switch-hitter...yeah, he looks like a prototypical leadoff man. Probably the best defensive player on our farm too.
