Kyrie is turning into a superstar. I'd love to have him back. Not happening though.

What was Boston thinking on that free throw miss? Sure the bounce was lucky for GS but Boston just wasn’t ready, it was if they assumed Green would make it.

He'd still be leading the league in scoring without free throws.

You made me check.. you are right:

Points per game discarding freethrows:

James Harden SG HOU 25.8
Stephen Curry PG GSW 24.9
LeBron James PF LAL 22
Anthony Davis C NOP 21.9
Paul George SF OKC 21.5
Kevin Durant PF GSW 21.3
Kawhi Leonard SF TOR 21.2
Bradley Beal SG WAS 20.9
Kyrie Irving PG BOS 20.5
Blake Griffin PF DET 20.4
Kemba Walker PG CHO 20.4
Giannis Antetokounmpo PF MIL 20.1
Damian Lillard PG POR 20.1
Klay Thompson SG GSW 20
Devin Booker SG PHO 19.4
Joel Embiid C PHI 19.3
Donovan Mitchell SG UTA 18.6
Buddy Hield SG SAC 18.6
Nikola Vucevic C ORL 18.4
CJ McCollum SG POR 18.4

LBJ jumps from #6 to #3

Meant to talk about the Raptors-Rockets game the other night. Anybody else see the end of it? Raptors come all the way back from, like, 18 down, and have the ball with about 18 seconds left, for the last shot. They take the ball out in the backcourt, Kawhi dribbles across the half-court line and kills another 5 seconds, before moving to his right, to airball a desperation three. I mean, what WAS that? Why even come all the way back, if you are going to waste a final possession like that? How do you not have time to get a good shot, with 18 seconds left?

Also - did you guys notice that Derrick Rose is actually putting up decent numbers? He’s averaging 19 and 5, starting in place of Jeff Teague. He’s managed to stay PRETTY healthy this year, though he is day-to-day with an ankle injury now.

At what point does the NBA just go to a premier league format?

Push up the top 16 big market teams and let all the small markets fight for relegation.

I still can't believe that a sport where 1 player matters this much doesn't have a franchise player designation. Even if it is for 1 year.

I'm still more mad about him being traded than LeBron leaving. The latter seemed inevitable...

they are definitely related. I don't think Lebron leaving was inevitable but it became a lot more so when they lost Kyrie.

Not only losing him but losing him for ALMOST NOTHING. An all-NBA player for a #8 draft pick that we still don't know whether it will work out. I don't even know how you lose an all-NBA player with two years left on his contract for nothing but we may have pulled it off.

in retrospect, the stroke of luck we got with the Clippers wanting desperately to unload that Baron Davis contract made up for losing LeBron. because it took 4 years, but that was definitely the reason he came back.

His per-36 numbers so far are 23/12/6 and he has looked very good with the Warriors scheme. Looks less physically dominant inside though.

I hate the Warriors.

Cousins 22/6/4 in 25 minutes of play tonite...any team could have had him...hate the Warriors

Is anyone else amazed there are people out there that think Kenny Atkinson is a bad coach? Including a lot of Nets fans?
